Sabina Boehm’s natural talent has always drawn her to the arts. In Seattle in the mid 90’s as the Borosilicate art glass movement gained momentum, she fell into an apprenticeship. She spent those first few years working in small shops, and garages, trying to gain knowledge wherever she could. “I knew Borosilicate was in the renaissance era. And, it really excited me.” She said. This medium has great feminine appeal to her. And the meditative creation process has kept her blowing for the past 14 years. When she stared making marbles full time, it seemed to make sense. Winning the Eugene Glass School Flame off in 2005 and 2006, in the marble category, has definitely given her the encouragement she's needed to continue to pursue her love for the art. She has also recently been published in "Glassline" as well as "The Flow" Magazines.
