I absolutely love anything with glass!
I was born and raised in Småland, Sweden. Close to Kosta Boda, Orrefors and many other glass work-shops right in the glass kingdom of Sweden.
I first came to San Francisco as a 20-year old.
During travels and much fun, I fell in love with the town Lahaina on Maui and that's where I learned lampworking from the extremely talented glass artists and friends at Maui Crystal. I moved over to Oahu's north shore and continued working with glass at Oceans in glass, Haleiwa. I have learned from and worked with some very talented glass artists. Sooo thankful!
Today, many years after, I live in Mobile, Alabama. I'm thrilled to be close to beautiful beaches and I love working with sealife sculptures, but there's still no places like Maui and Sweden!!!!....
