I have been working with glass since 1998, but not as my first art medium. Metals and stone were the main passions I followed until I found borosilicate glass. I am an avid mineral collector and miner which has brought me to digging and exhibiting minerals all over the country, and has now incorporated this passion into my glass. With these influences you can see the influence of opals and jaspers in my coloring. The many aquatic themes are influenced by years spent fishing the new England coast and scuba diving the waters of Massachusetts, the reefs of the Caribbean and Hawaii. I am primarily self taught only until recently studying with great glass Artists such as Sally Prasche and Milon Townsend to further develop my technique.
