Our Home and Studio Our studio on Freret St.(blue dot) had 2' of water; our home on General Taylor St.(red dot) was dry. Flooding occurred on lands that were once marsh or swamp, protected by levees designed and built by the Army Corps of Engineers/ the Federal Government.
