Tuesday AM Daybreak saw our worst fears realized; storm surge had caused floodwall failures. NEW ORLEANS WAS FLOODING! We left that morning for my parents’ house in Arlington Heights Illinois (a Chicago Suburb) where we would spend the next six weeks.
