My first goddess beads
(
AyakoHATTORI
)
I haven't made sculpture bead because my Satake is too soft to make it. But when I saw Western style beads of women's body, I found out they are so beautiful. I always enjoy seeing them. Then I decided to try some. They are my first goddess beads of Satake.

(
MaDeInHolland
)
When I look at my work it seems that I am obsessed with mouths.
I was trying to go as big as possible but the whith one came of my mandrell so the thooth are not so nice but still I like it. I think I am going combine it with one of my paintings.

These beads are created from Lauscha clear with Terra glass decor. Seems that hollow beads are very much in demand for those that like large glass beads but prefer them lightweight. Also we have here inspired by Anakin, the pendant implosion bead, also made from Lauscha.
~*Doris the Mermaid*~
(
TracyJerrell
)
A mermaid based loosely on a painting I did about 4 years ago. In the painting, I have a mermaid with a black bottom half instead of the usual green/blue and her tail is flipping up behind her. So here's a mermaid with a black tail decorated with silver and reactive glass.
Guardian Angels
(
R.G.Glass
)
This is the second attempt at creating a pair of figures, Angels, on one mandrel, one bead. Soft glass, gold-fumed. they are connected at the hips, shoulders and heads.

Sometimes, life is tough, and our vision gets clouded, and we forget the important things in life - the pretty things. Through selective etching, my beads reveal certain parts of their beauty whilst leaving others clouded, reminding us to look for clarity and the good things in life. My work is available on my website www.littlecastled... - commissions welcome!
Patty Lakinsmith's Lampwork Beads and Art Jewelry

Welcome to my gallery! Molten glass provides a journey of a thousand possibilities. When the glass is heated, I have a window of opportunity to shape the destiny of an otherwise permanent form. Learning the various ways that I can coax the glass into doing interesting things enables me to create fascinating snapshots in time, incredible microcosms in a single bead. Influenced by the metals within, each color has its own behavioral characteristics, and gives me unique methods for expressing a design. I can even use the color “clear” or a simple element such as an air bubble as components in my work, to magnify the effect of other colors or to suggest the qualities of water.
Much of my work is inspired by nature where I find themes of symmetry, asymmetry, and pattern to suggest a number of variations in glass. I sell my work at local shows and online at www.pattylakinsmi... Website: www.playswithfire... Blog: www.pattylakinsmi...

I spend my relaxation time with molten glass, and my husband continues to live with me. Love is blind. For more information, please see the "Contact Artist" button in the right page bottom.
Geode Beads
(
ShattoDesigns
)
This is a glass bead that I created out of my love for sparkling geodes. It is see through and really pretty. It is a very hard process for me so I don't make these very much.

Somehow - new colors inspire new looks... it's almost as if the bead is hiding inside the glass - just waiting to come to the surface.
Lauscha glass has, for me, inspired a new voice. Smoldering colors inspire a new feel in my work, while the transparents sing in their airy feel.
Glass in its infinite form is just sheer magic to me!
