I had a wonderful night at the musical "The Lion King" - it was so inspiring, just had to play a little bit with glass. I had Zazu in my mind because I love birds but the first thing I had in my mind when I opend the killn was Quetzal in the Sun :-)). Hope you have some fun!

Majutsu means enchantment in Japanese. This geisha is holding her cauldron at the end of an Argentium staff and I added 2 tendrils of hair flowing from either side of her hair bun. Similar in style to the other geisha but different enough to stand apart.
Only 2 were made for 2007 and will never be recreated.

Although I really enjoy the silence I have this strange feeling inside that somebody might be there ... under cover of darkness ...

...That wonderful, rusty color..."rosso", looks a bit like "terra di siena"...I just found a clod of reddish earth in a box in the basement...which I had picked from a field near Siena in Italy years ago...well, probably itīs not the real one...lol...

...In spring water plants start to grow at the bottom...and if the water is clear, you can see them, like an underwater garden, growing higher and higher, until they reach the surface and start to bloom. Itīs like some pre-spring down there...

I've been working glass of all kinds for over 10 years now, mostly beads and blown boro art.

...Storms are way rougher out here, open fields instead of city houses keeping the storm away...After loosing power 4 times in a row and the roof shaking badly I had to shut down my kiln, but fortunately it calmed down quite quickly, so I could start over later and make this bead...
