Floral Millifiori Fused Glass Dangling Earrings. Fused glass pendant is made by layering Millifiori (Italian for "a million flowers") between multiple layers of Italian Murano glass.

Reminiscent of an awe inspiring sunrise or sunset...
Fused Dichroic glass cabochon ("gemstone") is made by cutting and layering several pieces of glass, which are then fused in the kiln several times till the desired affect is achieved. Then Silver PMC (precious metal clay) is formed around the piece, shaped and sanded. It is then returned to the kiln then polished and buffed. The end result is a work or art for your neck.

Great colors for the fall and winter! Modern and Sleek!
Layers of opaque and semi-opaque glass personally cut and designed by me in my studio. The glass is then fused in the kiln at very high temperatures till the desired affect and strength is acheived. Only compatible glasses are used. Attached to a silver plate bail. Measures 7/8" x 3/4" (excluding bail).

This bead started out as a zebra back (see the wild things gallery) and just went a little overboard. It came out nice though. The black lines are as thin as baby fine hair!
The same week I made the bead I got the curved tubes, and they just seemed like a match.

I use tiles it's glass material to send to microwave oven to fusion together and got some lovely things!
It doesn't need to use deeply skills just arrange it is enough!

I was wondering what kinds of things would be fun to put on a glass ring when I glanced at an orchid Veda Bickley gave me at AGI. I was inspired to put some orchids on a ring. And I was inspired by Harold Williams Cooney's words on size, "Forget about what size it is." I think he meant that about the size of the ring but I applied it the size of the orchids... And I forgot about comfort, though I'm surprised at how easy they are to wear. The flowers are big. The rings are fat. And size does matter... I like how that statement applies to rings.

A New Technique

Perhaps you've heard of the new freeze and fuse technique! Check out this stunning sterling silver pendant built around a glass focal bead. The bead was created in three firings. The first firing created a pate de verre component. The second firing created the bead, which was then cold worked. The third firing tack fused the pate de verre to the bead and fire polished the bead. A long, pain staking process, but the resulting bead was worth it!
The bead is hung from a hand fabricated sterling silver finding on a hand made classical loop and loop chain of woven fine silver.
