Ameigh B.

Ameigh B.

(CosmicStudios)
My name is Ameigh B. I graduated from Georgia Southern University in 2005 with a print making and book arts concentration. Through out college I taught myself to work with glass on the side, and have been specifically dedicated to refining my glass techniques and concepts and creating new ones for about 6 years. I have been a glass fuser for aprox. 3 years and also can create small stained glass jewelry and sun catchers. As for what i enjoy the most, i would have to say I love it all, but experiencing the glass in its transitional state, wether inside the kiln or in the flame is the most energizing part of the process. Thanks for visiting my page! Any questions or feedback is greatly appreciated! Although my work is not for sale on this sight, it can be found on ebay and at local craft and art fairs, galleries, and retail shops.

"Cedar Rose"

(Bashi)
My signature pendant, the "Cedar Rose" was the first of this collection of wearable glass art.

Isaac Or - Glass Jewelry

Isaac Or - Glass Jewelry

(IsaacOr-glassJewelry)
Isaac Or, live and work in Herzeliah ,
Israel, industrial
designer and international
rafting and river rescue expert.
His experience in glass art was
acquired in Seattle, (U.S.A.),
a worldwide glassblowing center.
His work is hand made.
Each and every bead is
especially designed in shape
and color as part of the fusion
process. Every item is unique,
numbered and signed by the artist.

The raw material used is Italian
Murano glass form of colored
bars, which is renowned for
its high quality.
During the process of creating
the beads, the glass bar is
melted at temperature of 900
degrees Celsius and wound
around a thin iron rod called
a "Mandrel".
Once the designing stage is
completed, the temperature of
the bead is reduced in a
controlled manner, in order to
avoid internal pressure.
The iron rod is then removed and
thus the hole of the bead is formed.
