Cooper Glass Art creates beautiful artisan jewelry using dichroic glass, silver, gold, copper and leather. Each piece is handmade and no two will ever be alike.

The glass is cut, layered and fused together in kilns at temperatures up to 1500 degrees, sometimes multiple times. The play of light and the vibrant colors gives dichroic glass its visual beauty. My glass work is kiln annealed (slowly cooled) to give the glass lasting strength and durability. The piece may require additional shaping and will go back in the kiln for fire polishing. Fire polishing refines and polishes giving the glass a beautiful gloss finish.

The sterling silver plated leaf bails on our pendants are specifically designed for glass and add the perfect finishing touch.

A collaboration with my fiance Gonzo, this piece was made as a donation that will be up for auction at the Taste of Andersonville event. The centerpiece is a kiln-formed dichroic glass cabochon, hand-sculpted by Gonzo in sterling silver wire. The proceeds go to our Chamber of Commerce to help promote events and improve our neighborhood. Tickets for the event are $40 and include a HUGE buffet with food from restaurants in the neighborhood, silent auction, and a swing band with dancing. For more information go to www.andersonville... Title says it all.. solid dichro fuzed.. tack fuzing gives the dimensions Im wanting with fuzing glass.. even if you use the same color fuzed on top the dimension of the top piece just adds to the piece.. Dichro is hard to photograph.. nickle free bails epoxyed on back.. these things BLING in person..

I was low on o2 the other day and was forced to use a national torch (not my idea of a good time but it gave me a chance to play with some new implosion techs)
These are my first attempts at Jellyfish implosions and I have to say by the end of the shift I was feeling pretty good about them.
