Butterfly Goblets

Wine ing for dinner

Wine ing for dinner

(DRBThunderfoot)
Wine glasses for two, a hurricane lamp for a little mood lighting and salt & pepper shakers to flavor.
The wine glasses have collapsed marbles taken from the stem, imploded and placed in the stem at 90 degrees so the points can be seen from the sides. Lots of silver for the good blues accented with just enough Alaskan Gold from the Crow Creek Mine here in Girdwood.

Collaboration Vessel

Collaboration Vessel

(VulcanGlassworks)
This piece is a collaboration between myself, Matthew Olian of Vulcan Glassworks, and Kevin Smolark of Trisymbolize Glass. I made the stem and the stopper, and Kevin made the cup and foot. We both took part in the assembly process. Look out for more collaboration pieces in the near future. Thanks for looking...

Little John ani't got shit on me

this is my crunk cup.... It is a traditional italian piece called "the Guggenheim Goblet" my buddy jeffery made it with my help... him and my buddy mark are the only glass blowers in america that have made it
Big Cup

Big Cup

(DanCoyle)
Pretty straight foreward piece, the cup is at least 5 1/2 inches in diameter. It was definatly a challenge to make, my hands were beat red with heat rash by the end, but it came out suprizingly straight.

thanks for looking....

~Long Goblet Series~

(MikeNelson)
These are two of maybe five goblets I've gotten to create. I would like to do many more of these. The etched goblet is 33" tall. The other one is 16 1/2". Thanks for looking.
The Bad Boob Job Martini

The Bad Boob Job Martini

(DeMoss)
The Dr. that gave this horrible boob job is catching a beating (you can see his bloody nose) in the bottom of this martini glass.

Okay, Okay, it's not the best, but I thought it was funny.

A little advice please

A little advice please

This goblet is 10 in tall. Ruby powder over black tubing. I was debating adding a devil head to the stem then blasting flames on the cup and foot.

What do you think?

Thanks for lookin...

My first goblet

My first goblet

(ChrisMier)
This was my first attempt at a goblet, made under he instruction of Kyle Carni at Galleria di Vetro in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. The stem is a clear torso surrounded by blue flames. Any comments/advice is always appreciated.

Started blowing borosilicate glass in Dec. '98 in Norfolk, VA. Mad props to Dennis Sandborn, Emilio Santini, Cesare Toffolo, Matthew Eskuche, MNP, Hamm and many others.

the drinkglass production has a great market in europe, especially very fine custommade pieces which are fitting to the customers favorite colors, dishes, furniture, etc.

Motion Form Goblet

Motion Form Goblet

(GlassRave)
9" Tall. The strange pierced hole form is showing motion, pulling against a large glass orb. This one went smoothly for me, although the transition at the top where the goblet meets the marble will learned from and modified for next time.
a set of twelve

a set of twelve

(KevinBumble)
twelve glasses each one is uniquely different from the rest, but they are all the same size 7.5 inches tall 2.75 inch cup bowls 2 inch opening and 2.5 inch foot. Cheers!
Boro Flower

Boro Flower

(Mr.Smiley)
I made this piece and donated it to LE to help raise funds for the site. It's probably my favorite sculptural piece to date. It's about 10" tall and the base is so large, it barely fit into my little Chili Pepper kiln. I should have turned something bigger on. LOL
