Goblets

(AndrewJ.Pollack)
These are my goblets that incorporate figures into the stem, as well as others. Atlas, ferries, angels, and just plain old strong men, these little guys will keep guard over your finest wines. Starting at $120 retail, each is one of a kind and can be made custom for you.
Enjoy....

I may not be the best goblet maker to ever work with glass, but I really love how these turned out.

Both glasses and the stopper have nice vortex's.

Morning Goblet

Morning Goblet

(ScottPorter)
This goblet is 10.5" tall made of borosilicate. The top and foot are snow white and clear while the vines are made of satin green. This is my first piece of this type of work and certainly the largest goblet I have yet attempted.

Coil Goblet

Coil Goblet

(ScottPorter)
This Goblet is 7 1/2" by 3". The top and foot are coil sections, while the stem is solid saphire. There are a few different purples in this piece, but there is no clear in the whole thing. I used saphire where ever clear might have been.

this is my first attempt at making a goblet with countourex, and also a sculptural stem..I'm still not exactly sure what i think of it. It kinda happens like that sometimes.. Also special thanks to Anne for the facet work.

This group of goblets represent the last four months of intensive goblet study. The tallest stands about 13" or so and they are all furnace worked.

Custom teapot for Robert Stack

Custom teapot for Robert Stack

(AdamGrafuis)
Robert Stack from Unsolved Mysteries (best show ever!) wanted me to make him a teapot that was elegant yet mysterious. While we were talking about the order, it seemed as though he was having short flashbacks of the show, he would just randomly say things like.."was it a hoax?" and " Burbank California 91510-1449".. really weird guy..
