I didn't realize sub galleries make it to the front page..um.. these were the last couple i made from my first series of stoppers.
I'm planning to do another large series in a couple months.. i'm excited for those, as these allow me some creative liberties i'm not used to having.

I've been working on the color fade from the edges down into the throat.

Large, borosilicate corazon with spiral dot pattern on both sides and yellow/orange flame. Colors consist of Glass Alchemy's red crayon, acid yellow crayon, orange crayon, and Northstar's star white.

Ive been working on and off with bottle stoppers, adding new designs as I imagine them. Currently working on aquatic life theme's. The corks are pure white gum size #2 Laboratory stoppers tapering from 5/8" to 7/8".
"Ivory Swirl" Wine Stopper

This wine stopper features handmade lampwork beads.
The glass beads are made by me with a torch and annealed (cooled)in a kiln overnight for added durability.
The ivory background has shiny caramel swirls and squiggle accents.
