vessels- then and now

(MeitalPlotnik)
Here are some of my vessels, from my very first and not as elaborate ones, to the newest, bigger and with more intricate designs.

Upgra... from the hot head torch to the minor, in addition to getting my kiln, gave me an incredible freedom to work, because I could finally make bigger vessels, and give much more attention to their design and decoration than I could on the hot head (which is a lovely torch, but it limited me in the size of my items).

Thanks for looking!

The Other Pieces From School...

(RandyBarba)
When I got home from school, I immidiatly began to try and put together a budget photo setup. After much trial and error, thanks to lack of experience and equipment, I managed to get the remainder of my pieces shot and logged. Mike Elliot, a friend of my father, was nice enough to donate his time and spiffy Nikon Digi to the project. About 500 photos later, the group of shots were selected, and now presented to you! Some are good, some are bad, it's all good. Enjoy.

Currently featured is my Aquarium Jewelry line from last year. Recently retreived from Ariodante gallery, in New Orleans, this was a limited line of which only a few remain. They are made with coral or pearls to compliment one of my hollow aquarium beads, strung vertically. Each contains a number of fish murinne and latticino seaweed to create an underwater world that can be carried with you, around your neck. Also signed with "AJP 05" murinne. These won't last till the holidays, so get one of these limited edition pieces now.

If you can't find what you want here, scroll down for the rest of the galleries of my work. You will find many ideas to choose from to design your own custom piece of art. Click on any text or image and it will take you to that gallery.

I faceted both marias at the same time, then copper electroformed around the facets and stem. Special thanks to Master Eskuche for the recent workshop and my homie Natedogg for hooking it up with such a nice spot to stay and work out of- treated with a patina to get the blue funk-
Opal Topped vessel

Opal Topped vessel

(MandellaGlass)
This is my first vessel. I just started working with hollow and have really enjoyed it. I thought I would start off with something a little smaller. This piece is about 3" tall, made with North Star caramel and cherry wood. The top has a white gilson opal that blings in the sunlight. Cant wait to try my next one. Wish me luck!
