Will You Marry Me?

(Route66GlassWorks)
This is a glass my brother had me make with about one hour's notice. Putting a several thousand dollar diamond 1 1/2" from a flame will definately test your confidence, and give you the shakes like your first day of blowing glass with 20 people watching. $$$$$BLING-BLING$...

6. Boro Water Fountain

(EyeCandyArts)
Here is my first water fountain. I had tons of fun making this piece. It took me five days of prep and assembly all together, but I have a better understanding of how it all works so the next few times it will get easier. We just got a glass lathe in the shop, so more fountains are surely on the way.

Soap Dispenser, December 05

Big ups to Sarah for the dispenser idea, had to snag it for the Christmas to do list-- Given to my brother Justin and his wife Sarah -- my order of operations was off and I don't own claws- kind of got in over my head, had to hold the whole thing with one hand and try to spin it 360 so I could push the base, which is slightly off.....probably try a punty next time...3 reversals.......m... exotic citrus(2 shades)

It's 21 inches tall, and all glass except for the electrical parts of course. It's now on my desk and my other glass lamp has to find a new home to illuminate! Haha!

~Medieval Series # 1~

(NathanPurcell)
The stems designs in this series of goblets were inspired by the ornamentation of medieval weaponry.

The red and blue deigns exude the pride of medeival hiearchy, and significance of noblemen in medeival times.

The orange and blue piece has afree spinning marble in the middle of the design.

Each piece stands 15 to 17 inches tall.

Thanks for looking.Sincerely,

Nate Purcell

Into The Mystic

(LilBitAGlass)
For the month of August my wife was the featured artist of the month at the Art Source Gallery in downtown Boise, ID. The main piece we did for the opening was a 7ft tall frame with glass bowls on it to form an elephants head titled "Into The Mystic". With only one small fusing kiln with a shelf only 12x12" it took almost 3 months of fusing and slumping to finish all the pieces one at a time, makes us wish we had a bigger kiln. Here are some pictures from our opening night. I didn't have time to take lots of pictures with all the people that showed up, but it was a fantastic first night out. Enjoy.

Bashi and I have been collaborating through the mail recently, He made the perfume vase and I made the stopper. Silver fume and unobtainium are the main colors used, with some light teal as well. Bashi is fun to work with, our collaborations have given me many new ideas to work on. I look foreward to more mail work in the future!
