Fuchsia Cluster Beads

Fuchsia Cluster Beads

(BarbaraA.Caraway)
These fuchsia clusters were made for chandelier components, but they could also be used as pendants for a summer garden necklace.

90 COE Bullseye opaque glass, with sparkly green aventurine leaves, made on a GTT Lynx, using traditional Italian technique. Stamens made with Thompson vitreous enamel stringers fused to copper wire at the torch. Private collection, 2007. I'm a tardy poster.

I am addicted to the art of reverse painted glass, and use my growing skills to create one-of-a-kind tablelamps, sconces, chandeliers, and windowhangings, most of which are influenced by nature.

a unique color theme, variations of tile size, shape,

Light Fixture, October '06... Artworks Gallery Show

Light Fixture, October '06... Artworks Gallery Show

(NickElledge)
Here's a light fixture that I made for a centerpiece in my October gallery showing at Artworks here in Seattle. Their are 17 cones/lights; I made the center cone on the lathe and the other 16 by hand. Every component has been fumed with gold & silver and sandblasted. 19 lbs--- this was alot of fun to work on, I estimate 125 hours went into this. A big thanks goes to Artworks for the opportunity to show my work!

I am a fustrated artist that has worked in oils, ceramic, silver and now glass. My pieces are mostly functional art for the home. Everything you see is for sale with the exception of the napkin holder and candle holder which were made for a freind as wedding gift. I am now creating more lamps in various colors and and shapes.
We now have a gallery in Frazier Park Ca. 3701 Mt. Pinos Way across from the local market.

Ive been wanting to explore lighting for quite some time and finally have had the chance! Recently Harald Eberhart came and taught a neon class at my studio and this is what has come of it.

Many thanks to Harald for sharing his talent and time with us.

Melting glass, forging Copper, Bronze and Steel.
Moulding clay and using high temperatures, with modern yet at the same time ancient methods, we give form to these materials that “Terra” Earth has so open-handedly granted to us.
We create objects of art, that are both useful and decorative, in forms and shapes created by the exquisite iridescent colours of oxides taking us to another dimension, that of beauty and joy of life.
