In a galaxy way far way out there...
New planets are born out of the cosmic space dust of my mind.
Recently very inspired by another marble I set out to do my own spin on a space scene.
This is the first of many other space explorations that I will be doing for sure.
Definitely one of the most difficult to photograph if not the most.
I spent a lot of time really trying to capture all that is going on inside this one.
Hope you enjoy!

Imagine laying in hammock on a warm summer night in the far north. Looking around you can see the beautiful pine forest that surrounds you, and the spectacular northern lights above (including a large piece of space debris).

Upon my further explorations of the darkstar region I have come across what seems to be portals to other dimensions and spaces in time. With special lighting you can also see all the radio active gases filling the air.

Seriously, who would Jesus Bomb?

Politics and Religion in one marble. Well I guess they do go hand in hand.

This is a big 2 3/4 in. marble. On the inside it has Jesus and Satan facing off with flames licking at their feet and heads.

On the back is the very serious question of "Who would Jesus bomb?"

Here's a recent Paradise marble that I made!!! Stazrting to get the colors right and everything else... I hope you like it!!!

This marble has a solitary Palm Tree growing on a deserted island in the middle of the ocean!! There's a little cove that forms is own whirlpool in this one as well!! A pinwheel pattern of sunset colors decorates the back, while the bottom of this marble is covered with ocean blues, raked and pinwheeled churning up the water.. Measures 1 13/16 inch.

I had a chance to work with travis Weber for a few days this summer and I learned a lot from him about keeping my surface work clean. The raking patterns are a result of what he showed me, and are very much inspired by his work. Thanx Travis I appriciate your pointers!

Get TWISTED!!!

Here's a new twist on the Window Series - Twisted Windows Marbles!!! 2 sided marbles, one side is a wigwag window exposing a second layer of design.

With this series I tried to do away with the conventional front/back relationship as well as the traditional 'circular' lens borders. My goal was to give the marble mostion and make it more interactive.
