I hope you enjoy it too

I was demoing at a friends gallery, Vetro Art Glass,in Grapevine, TX. The owner, David Gappa, asked my five year old if he wanted to blow a bubble. Trey said "Let's do this man!!!" No lie, he never hesitated. He listened and moved around me while I gathered and marvered, etc. The pictures say the rest. The crowd was 75-100 folks and he rocked. They went wild for him. I am a proud papa. I will have to talk to him about proper footware(and I gave up my shades to a collector for the demo).

Thanks for checking this out!
Glass is good!!!

One day, while visiting a traditional market in the city of Thessaloniki, in northern Greece, I came across a small glass workshop; fascinated, I watched the aged craftsman (I prefer to call him alchemist) pulling and kneading test tubes and the bottles submitting this remarkable material into the obedience of his hands.
I immediately went to purchase glass bars and blow torches and along with the rest of my studies I’ve also started investigating the artistic possibilities of this inspirational material.

This was, without a doubt, the greatest adventure of my glassblowing career. Never before had I seen so many beautiful women with so much talent all in one place. Thanks so much, boys and girls alike, for welcoming me in to your world. And thanks so much to Nate, Josh, Ian, Victoria, and Jessie for having me in your space and taking such good care of all of us.

Pilchuck Glass School

(MarkLammi)
these are some pictures from Pilchuck. The totem pole is insane and has a bunch of glass elements incorporated within. At night it is lit from behind and the light shines through the clear glass.
