lampwork rosary

lampwork rosary

(E.Zelachowski)
This took me a little while to figure out, including some debate between cross and crucifix. I had a lot of input from my friends at WC. In the end, I really like it.

The pendants are hollow and can be used to hold essential oil or even hung from a rear view mirror with a little flower in them. So much fun to make. All hand blown borosilicate glass.

I've changed my technique from the old pendants and decided to make beaded chains for these guys. All the pendants are boro and the chains are all different types of stones. Hope you enjoy!

My "Ivory Envy" technique was used here giving this fused glass pendant a scrimshaw on bone effect.

The beads on the necklace were all finds from my recent trip to Africa

Glass Chain

(MalissaKuznicki)
I've made probably close to a dozen of these chain necklaces. Mostly I'm experimenting with different ways I can make the clasp. I just love wearing them because of the sound they make.

I always appreciate the wonderful opportunity it is to share in this community with so many talented indiviuals. And more so to develop friendships that go beyond the studio. This collaboration was created for my own personal adornment and admiration. It's a keeper. Thanks Kyle for putting forth your stellar efforts. I feel lucky to be able to be part of completing the works. I look forward to all our future endeavors.

I had this hair-brained idea that I would have a photo contest. If someone purchased one of my beads and took a photo of the finished work they could WIN!!! And being the type of happy-go-lucky dude that I am, I told every one that they would win CASH. And, as it turns out, of course, I don't have any. I don't know what to tell thease folks, I guess they get some free stuff . . . So funny what I do sometimes when I think I'm smart. Anyhow, the photos I do have are very fun for me to look at. Stringing is hard work, it takes some real skill, time and access to the right materials. If you have made work from my work, please send me a photo: YOU COULD WIN CASH!!! :)

The "Manon Lily"

Showcasing a magnificent fine lampworked glass bead in my favorite "Tiffany Blue" color as I like to call it, from glass artist Andrew Sinclair-Day from ZenArt Glass (gallery page: www.GlassArtists.... here is the "Manon Lily", named after my lovely 19 months old daughter and muse... It just tells you everything about the wonderfully playful, witty and sunny character a toddler girl can show! This piece includes a fine lampwork Moretti glass bead, handcrafted plastic "Shrinky Dinks" beads, a crystal quartz bead, some frosted glass beads, Sterling silver beads and a piece of random cut blue glass tile.

"Fish" Safety Pin Necklace
