Dichroic Beauty proudly presents this 'Patriot' red, white and blue sterling silver ring to wear! The cabochon size is approximately 14mm x 10mm or 7/18" x 3/8".

DB's new line of 'Patriot' jewelry is designed by Mark M. Kwiatkowski, World Famous Web Author!

All of our pieces are made with strict attention to detail and the best of materials. Dichroic cabochons are hand made, by us, with Coatings by Sandberg, the premiere coater in the glass industry and capped with clear glass to protect the coating from scratches and chips. This ring setting is a .925 sterling silver setting and marked as such. The cabochon has been set in this size 8 ring setting. Each cabochon is individual as no piece of fused Dichroic glass is the same.

I'm just starting to feel comfortable enough in what the glass is going to do to allow myself to work with dichro...just a little at a time. Lots of iridized stuff this time.

My work organic in nature is inspired by my surrounding. I spend a lot of time looking at rock and exploring the colors in them. Sometimes subtle other time dramatic.
I have really enjoyed working with powders and frit to create this new body of work.

A New Technique

Perhaps you've heard of the new freeze and fuse technique! Check out this stunning sterling silver pendant built around a glass focal bead. The bead was created in three firings. The first firing created a pate de verre component. The second firing created the bead, which was then cold worked. The third firing tack fused the pate de verre to the bead and fire polished the bead. A long, pain staking process, but the resulting bead was worth it!

The bead is hung from a hand fabricated sterling silver finding on a hand made classical loop and loop chain of woven fine silver.

Art to wear! Enjoy!

I have fused for about twenty-five years, in varying complexities.

The vase which appears a rosy amber, is Rhubarb shift glass which is a specialty glass that glows green over one sort of light, and quite pink over another... hence the name (fused with clear and dichroic glass,) and then draped over a mold
