Silver and gold fumed honeycomb, this one goes super deep and has a nice variety of fume colors. I am taking pictures of my fume and dichro work in the sun now, and the colors seem to come out alot brighter in the natural light. Thanks for looking.

Eye of the Gods: "Cymatic Om"

When base tonal sounds are vibrated through sand or liquid they create patterns within the material. The science of producing, viewing, and understanding these patterns is known as "Cymatics". This science was pioneered by Swiss scientist Dr. Hans Jenny (1904 -1972). Every frequency of sound creates its own unique pattern. These patterns occur repeatedly through out nature. The base tonal vibration for all creation is the "Om" or "Aum" vibration.
Everything in the universe is made of vibrating energy. Every object or entity vibrates on its own unique frequency. All vibrating energy can be seen as light. This includes humans. We are vibrating light energy. There are points in the universe and on our earth where this energy is more focused and these points are known as vortices or vortex's. I find this information to be fascinating but I am new to most of it and my understanding of it is limited. This series I utilize a clear window in a reversal to expose a 2nd layer of patterns under it, such as a honeycomb, a sheet of dichro, or a dichro galaxy swirl. Marble shown here is in my private collection. Thanks to J. Bizzano for the honeycomb demos and the photography tips while I was in Ohio.

This marble has a lot going for it. It's got a nice and deep twisted 5-star honeycomb that reveals behind it some flashy dichro. So you flip it over to see the shiny suff and there in the center of the dichro vortex is a little hidden treasure - a polished white square opal!
