How A Glass Blower Holds His Pants UP

(NewberyArtGlass)
This is for Ericka. In the message forum Ericka was asking about Glass Belt Buckles and these are for her. The hardest part is finding the metal backing in a usable size. I am searching for smaller backs so that I can make pieces more appropriate for a smaller lady.

Here come the "bugs".

(PamWeinGrimes)
Here come the "bugs' Dichroic glass is the perfect medium to make beautiful fused "bugs". The glass seems to capture the movement of the butterflies, dragonflies and scarab. The bugs are always very happy to become a shimmering piece of jewelry and then to be adopted by an appreciative new home.

Three necklaces I've worked on to submit to the 'Its elemental' show at the Coconino Center for the Arts. This is a fine craft exhibition that showcases work done with clay, glass, wood, and metal. Also it is my first ever application to have my work in a gallery!

'Creature of Volume'

This fantasy dress was made using soda glass, irridescent water glass and irridescent bullseye glass. Each piece is hand cut, laser etched and silk-screen printed. The glass is combined with silver wire, 3,000 cut glass crystals and silk-screen printed metallic silk and organza. This dress formed part of my degree show at the University of Hertfordshire. The whole project took in excess of 700 hours to execute.

These are by far the most perfect set of cabs that Chris has sent me. The green/blue rake fume is stunning. All of these are perfectly imploded. I'd say this series shows how exceptional Chris's implosions are. Glass implosion cabs hand-blown by Chris Roesinger. Silverwork by Jason Burruss. A new series of pendants I've been working on. Got sick of all the chunky pendants out there, decided to try for something different. All have cut opals in them and come with fancy silver clasps.

Moretti and Boro Necklace Collaboration

(ChrisRoesinger)
Recently, I was honored that my friend and amazing lampworker Kyle Camyre asked that I make focals for his necklaces. He's a third generation glass artist and makes wonderful moretti beads with great precision and detail. This year at Lapidary Journal's Bead Feat he asked me to make a reticello for this neckalce. During one of my demonstations, I humbly went for it. I used Black Violet and Snow White for this pendant. I'd like to thank Kyle for the opportunity to complete his piece.

Deep Space Belt Buckle

(DeMoss)

They have a lot more depth than what shows up in the photos. There are chunks of space rock (silicon) floating around. And the planets are actually round and floating. They look a little flat in the photo.
