Monday Morning
(

)
This gorgeous eye marble is accented with pinwheels and raking. Eye marbles are something no collector should go without! Place the eye marbles around the house and watch them watch you.
This eye marble, Monday Morning, looks to me like how I feel on some Monday mornings hehe. What does this marble say to you?

Collabs from Tiemeyer Workshop
(
DeMoss
)
Here are a few of the collabs that were made when Kenan came over for his Demo. I didn't get pictures of all of them, but enjoy these.
Sorry the pics aren't that great. They actually look really sweet in person.

Eyes and More!
(
BenBurton
)
Some more of the Marbles that went to the Ve1gas Show. Some Eyeballs, some fumers and a bowtie.... These are some of the biggest eyes I've ever made as well as some of my favorites!
A little more of that T-Dub influence in some of these!
The Eyecon is going to my sister for her birthday, she's and optometrist too :-)

Haven't made too many in awhile. Same as they ever was. 2-1/16"
(

I made a number of these eye marbles a ways back. Used to make them with "Kimble" brand boro that was discontinued in 2003. I have heard from some folks that I can't make them now that the "fume friendly" Kimble does not exist. While the treatment of the newer Kimble (post '03) is different and the results are not quite the same. It is very possible to still make these eye marbles. This one is Kimble on the front and Simax on the back. This is the largest I have made to date. Still a challenge.

Marble Monster in Red
(
DeMoss
)
This cute guy is about 2", so he has a small monster complex. But no matter how hard he tries to look mean, he can't do it.
Old One-Eyed Pete
(
DeMoss
)
This is old One-Eyed Pete. He is about 1 15/16" and isn't too photogenic.
He has one eye (that's why we call him One-Eyed Pete not Two or Three-Eyed Pete) and a mouth full of teeth with a big tongue that twists down into the back of his throat (he needs braces, but he thinks he would look funny so he won't do it).
Peeking Through Windows
(

)
This eye marble is peeking out the windows. Turn the marble different ways and you have completely different views, and even a different look. One side of the marble looks like a huge alien plant!

Sunset Blues
(
EugeneRain
)
This eye marble reminds me of someone watching a beautiful sunset, wishing it would continue forever. The pupil of this eye marble is a tiny honeycomb. The backing consists of different pinwheel patterns, raking, and dot patterns. The backing of the marble also has sparkling adventurine colors.

Space Eye
(

Space meets the eye...marbles that is. We've taken a small exploding planet and turned it upside down to create the iris of this eye marble. Outlined in a gradient of purple pinwheels, and backed in various pinwheel and raked dot designs.

UPDATE: Our clown was voted the Favorite of the 50 Clowns created for the Clowing Around Town Art Project in Sarasota, Florida! Miss Beady Buttons has been featured over and over in television stories and newspaper articles about the Tidewell Childrens Hospice public art project. We will be at Selby Gardens in Sarasota, May 6th, for their last public viewing before they are auctioned off. Hope to see you there!!! Double Opal Cymatic Eye of God 1-3/4"
(
KenanTiemeyer
)
This eye was made for the www.glassaddictio... eyeball marble contest last year. It got 3rd place. I was rushed in finishing and did not strike the silver in the combs enough. I "cooked" it a little longer and now it looks like it should.
Eye Ball #1 2006
(

Title: Eye Ball #1 2006
Size: 1 3/10ths of an inch
By: J McGhee
This wonderful eye is creepy the pinkish orange cornea is embedded in a layer of clear to give the eye a lot of depth. A double dot of OG moss and blue sparkle under a layer of clear for the pupil. Equate ring around the eyelid, are mini eye’s of sparkling green and blue raked dots.
The side backing is a layer of blue sparkling dots, with raked lines holding the back lens.
In the back lens is a layer of deep gold-ish pink fuming, with a bumpy texture.
This fumed eye was super fun to make.
Look for more to come

Fuming frit eye #2
Size 1 inch
By J McGhee 2006
This frit core eye is awesome I love the depth to this one.
The core is a mixture of several fuming frits. The color range from green, black, orange, blues. Ridges are added to give more depth, then coated with a thick layer of clear.
The eye is a triple dot grape raked , silver beach, grape honeycomb. Very 3d like.
There is an equator of double dot grape and silver beach raked eyes. The bottom center is a double dot grape, silver beach pinwheel.

Title: Eye be Sparkling and Iridescent
Size: 1 ¼ of an inch
By J McGhee 2006
This sparkling eye is made with custom mixed colors, in the sun this marble can really be mesmerizing to the eye…
The core color of this marble is a custom mixed color that is a sparkling sky blue, the equator row of silver beach the fades to the bottom back of the marble.
The front of the eye there are several layers of custom sparkling colors, lots of depth and sparkle to this wonderful eye. Wait till you get this marble in the sun and explore it in full detail…
