Assorted Marbles

Assorted Marbles

(BenBurton)
So along with my Eyeballs I tried a few other things out....

I tried a few eyes in the way Kenan Tiemeyer does his, but they just didn't come out right... I have the idea conceptually but when I try to manifest it on this physical plane it doesn't work correctly... but I did get some really cool fuming effects that I shall experiment with more in the future.

I also did my first airtrap marble. it's a little guy. and it's a total Anakin bite, but it was pretty tasty!!!

There's also a honeycomb and a monster marble and maybe more...

Enjoy!...

Jelly Fish, Flower I dunno

(Inferno)
This was supposed to be a flowr marble but then I realized it kinda looked like some jelly fish marbles that kobuki makes. It was fun to make regardless.

This is my favorite marble I have ever made. I knew I couldn't hang on to it so it was a gift to my dad. This also has a matching inside out stand, forgot to photograph that. Maybe he'll let me borrow it back to do so sometime.

Floral Murrini Marbles

(BlairSechrest)
These marbles are greatly influenced by my bead making. I also recently learned how to make floral murrini in the Japanese style and love the depth they achieve.

This is another one of my floral marbles. On this one I started to decorate the back. I am happy with the outcome and hope to clean up the tool marks a little better on the next one.

Thanks for looking.

Making Flower Marbles is very rewarding. I love how you can change up your pattern work to create different types of flowers. Special thanks to Kristina Holtz Photography for taking these very artistic shots of my work.

"Endangered Mysteries" #2 of 50

(JahFree)
This marble measures just over 2" or 51.75mm in diameter. I really like these....so many different patterns possible! And I love how it kinda looks like a vortex. And the square opals encase so perfect! I used sublime, Elvis, & black violet inside, but you can only see the elvis .....and mini air bubbles from the sublime....looks just like green fume....and I've been trying different patterns on the backside...i like this one..... looks cloudy......thanks for looking!!
Waterweed Flower and Goldfish Marbles

Waterweed Flower and Goldfish Marbles

(AyakoHATTORI)
Waterweed (Egeria densa) is floating in the pond, blooming. Goldfishes are swimming around the waterweed. And ripples are spreading on the surface of the bead. (The surface is smooth but you still recognize the ripples on it.)

flowers have been a part of my regular routine but was having troubly adding leaves and pettles before I learned about bridges. From that came the idea for frames.

I was approached by management at Ricoh to come up with something in glass, this is what I made. It's 3"h x 31/2"W x 4"D. Big thanks to Jim from aspenglass.com for the 3/4" plate glass. It's good stuff! Thanks for looking!

(DeMoss)
I made these flower marbles for my niece Elly and my sister Hanna. I've only been doing this for about five weeks. So considering that, I'd say their not too shabby.

Sorry about the photo quality

.....SOLD.....These are my newest marbles. I'll be going in to the shop now to try some new styles.I have been working with glass for about 5 years and still I have glass dreams. It's part obsession and part education.
These picture are probably some of the worst I've taken. The marbles are much more colorful in person.
