new rings

All of the old rings that were worthy went Flameworks (I love Kevin and Jeannine) to find new homes...this is the latest batch. I used borosticks for these...all in all I am quite happy with the results.

Mermaid

I've just made a few mermaid pendants. They are pretty fun! I love making the human form. Used to draw portraits back in Sweden and actually made some money on it as well. Today I don't draw much at all, except for together with my daughter, whom is quite and artist at only age 5 (and quite the jewelry designer as well)

"Seas of Cheese" Ring

(CorinneWinters)
I recently found a small section of tubing left over from a piece I made for Les Claypool. I decided to make myself a ring out of it as a reminder. It looks more like flames than cheese- but I think that's appropriate for me, considering my line of work. I believe I learned this technique for making rings out of tubing many years ago from Avery Gross. The tubing allows one to create a large ring without making it too weak or heavy.

I've never tried to make any rings before, so I figured I'd give it a shot. I think they turned out OK!

I sell them regularly on eBay, so look for them under "goofballbeads"!(... considerably cheap compared to others)

All Glass Rings

All Glass Rings

(HaroldWilliamsCooney)
I have been working for a few years now to become the glass ring dude. I have always had a difficult time with the ladies on a social level and when I first started making glass rings I kind of thought that they would turn me into some sort of lampworking James Bond, or Rico Swava; but no, same old Harold. If you don't know this already, asking out a customer you make acquaintance with at a show doesn’t work, wish it did. Anyhow, I love to make rings because they make the women who ware them so happy. Every customer I have turns into a return customer. If you have one of my glass rings, please accept my thanks. You have invested in my future and helped build my life. Thank you.

Here are some rings I did a while back. They have either a solid color "stone" or center piece or a small pattern marble.
