Desert Twist

Desert Twist

(JonesArtGlass)
These beads bring about feelings of peace. Their unique, twsited design show the never ending spiral of life. Some times ebb sometimes flow but always in motion. These beads show the motion of the Desert. Thank you to Bead & Button Magazine for including these in the August 2005 edition of Artist Spotlight.

These beads represent the incredible influence KBGlassworks has had on my own lampwork. Thanks Andrew And Brian for helping make the desert liveable.
The use of Glison Opals really shows the fiery spirit of Albuqueque, NM.

Older bead sets of 2005

(Christina)
I made these beads right after I figured out how to actually make a round bead. Lol. They were all taken in full sunlight because I had not gotten an indoor photography set up yet. If you have any questions feel free to ask! :o)

Grinding out some beads for a show.I learned to make beads in 2001,after being asked if I could teach a beadmaking class. You've heard of "fake it til you make it",right?Well, I didn't want to miss the opportunity.I taught my first class two weeks later.Funny story, just thought I'd share that.More images tonight.

Hanging Out With Toads

Joe let his imagination conjure up something that women have always known to be a fact. "You Have To Hang Out With A Lot Of Toads Before You Find Your Prince."
More Ocean Inspired Beads

More Ocean Inspired Beads

(Christina)
Here are a few more beads that I have made that remind me of the ocean. They are a little more time consuming than most but the outcome is pretty neat. Some have 3mm Gilson opal spheres and colored tentacles reaching through the clear encasement, or they just look like an Ocean Motif to me.
A fox, A deer, A dog.

A fox, A deer, A dog.

(JoeAndDonna)
I was asked if I could make a fox. Since I had never attempted such a critter I said I would give it a try. Well out of my try, I ended up with a fox, which to me looked a lot like a deer, so then I tried to make a deer, added a red nose to one of them, then I ended up with a dog, now where the dog came from is anyone's guess, but he made himself known and just wouldn't go away. So here they all are, pics a little fuzzy. Will try to get better ones up soon.
First Time with Boro

First Time with Boro

My boyfriend and I are now proud owners of a refurbished oxygen concentrator. I am happy to say that it has really helped me improve my beads. The flame is a bit cooler and the glass seems to like it =)
We are still building our website, but continue to list our items on ebay under Rossb600 and I have a new account Fire*Faerie. Being on the torch has been a lot of fun these past few months, thanks for stopping by!

This necklace was made on Soft Flex beading wire and has swarovski crystals, faceted garnets, iridized seed beads in magenta, Bali silver beads, and my lampworked beads all incorporated. It is also terminated with a sterling silver clasp. It was a Christmas present for my Grandma whom grows so many beautiful Begonias.

I made these beads and then finished them on the lapidary wheel along with a good polishing. I probably won't be making many more, I was just goofing around.

Valentines Day is a wonderful, exciting, and romantic time, and in keeping with the spirit of Heart Day as I call it, and VD day as Joe calls it. I decided to make some hearts. I hope that each and everyone of you have, that someone special that makes your heart sing.
