Aurora Borealis boro beads and more by Josh Bonazza of Juba Glass
(
JubaGlass

Cosmic ripples of color mix in wispy shimmering patterns over a very deep cobalt blue base, in the Aurora Borealis beads (first two pictures). We added in some more bead pictures of current favorites as well. All beads are made from borosilicate glass on 3/32" mandrels and annealed in the kiln for strength.

Spacer Bead Sets
(
LLuviaBrito

Mostly adding these to show some boro colors and what they look like in a small application such as little spacer beads. I hope this page will help with what some of the colors look like together, in frit form, and encased colors. Hopefully it will also be a good reference for people who want to try boro but don't know what colors to start with.

2004 Inside Out Beads
(
FireDanceGlass
)
These are my best selling beads...they start out hollow, then I condense them into a solid form. They are pierced with tungsten while the glass is still hot to create the hole. Most are made with only one color of glass. The variation in color comes from the fuming patterns I create with gold and silver.
