Small Wonders
Ever try to make a marble as small as possible? It's kinda fun. Anyway, here's a few I did tonight, just for the heck of it. It actually makes quit...
Living Fossil Vessels
Finally, I got around to working on these pieces again..... Thanks for looking.

But certainly not least...
(

This is a spot for all the beads I currently have in my hot little hands but have no other catagories to put them in...reather than leave them all alone, wimpering in the cold by themselves, I've put them all here so they can party hard with each other!!
Summer 2007 Florals
(
TracyKaren
)
I've finally moved from small florals to larger beads. I'm not sure why this happened, but I guess I've found more patience. Small beads, about half an hour, large beads, close to two hours.
Little Castle Designs
(
SabineLittle
)
Sometimes, life is tough, and our vision gets clouded, and we forget the important things in life - the pretty things. Through selective etching, my beads reveal certain parts of their beauty whilst leaving others clouded, reminding us to look for clarity and the good things in life. My work is available on my website www.littlecastled... - commissions welcome!
GRAPEBERRY BLOSSOMS
(
GMDLampwork
)
Juicy cores of striated transparent reddish amethyst are wrapped in a garland of vibrant fuchsia and violet blossoms, floating amidst swirling greenery under a layer of crystal clear.
SUNNY PINK POSIES
(
GMDLampwork
)
Sunny cores of striated transparent yellow orange "marmalade" are wrapped in a garland of whimsical soft pink blossoms, floating amidst swirling greenery under a layer of crystal clear.
TANGABERRY BLOSSOMS
(
GMDLampwork
)
Punchy cores of striated transparent bright orange are wrapped in a garland of vibrant fuchsia and violet blossoms, floating amidst swirling greenery under a layer of crystal clear.
Sparkly Blue Cane Beads
(
ChaoticGlass
)
These beads are made with cane using GA's jupiter sparkle and cobalt. I heavily encased them and they came out really cool. It's a really nice color combo.
Lois Hammett Etc. beads
(
LoisHammettEtc.Beads
)
These encased floral beads have been created from fine glass and annealed to insure long lasting wear. They have been made in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains. What better inspiration could there be? Be sure to check out other non floral glass beads.

I love casing beads, it gives a lot of depth to each piece and there's so many things you can do with layers! I teach every technique you see on my page. Customized classes are available or you can choose a formatted class at www .artforedu.com. Enjoy!
Encased beads by Barbara Brookie White
(

I am addicted to heavily encased beads. Making them is like unwinding with a stroll in the park. Making the sringers, mulitlayered ribbon and stamen canes are a large part of planning each floral focal.
As I go into my 6th year of lampworking, I continue to find time for several florals each work session.
I work with Moretti, Lauscha, Vetrofond, and Bullseye glass.

(

some days are better days than other days ;-)...ja, ja... so to say... and sometimes I think the only reason for me to create beads is to shoot pictures afterwards... I´m crazy into close-ups....

MORNING
Firefly
I love this piece!!! One of my favorite dry pieces that I've ever made... The color scheme, the mouthpiece pattern, and the rediculous pull-apart...
