But certainly not least...

But certainly not least...

This is a spot for all the beads I currently have in my hot little hands but have no other catagories to put them in...reather than leave them all alone, wimpering in the cold by themselves, I've put them all here so they can party hard with each other!!
Summer 2007 Florals

Summer 2007 Florals

(TracyKaren)
I've finally moved from small florals to larger beads. I'm not sure why this happened, but I guess I've found more patience. Small beads, about half an hour, large beads, close to two hours.

Sometimes, life is tough, and our vision gets clouded, and we forget the important things in life - the pretty things. Through selective etching, my beads reveal certain parts of their beauty whilst leaving others clouded, reminding us to look for clarity and the good things in life. My work is available on my website www.littlecastled... - commissions welcome!

These beads are made with cane using GA's jupiter sparkle and cobalt. I heavily encased them and they came out really cool. It's a really nice color combo.

These encased floral beads have been created from fine glass and annealed to insure long lasting wear. They have been made in the Appalachian Mountains of Tennessee near the Great Smoky Mountains. What better inspiration could there be? Be sure to check out other non floral glass beads.

I love casing beads, it gives a lot of depth to each piece and there's so many things you can do with layers! I teach every technique you see on my page. Customized classes are available or you can choose a formatted class at www .artforedu.com. Enjoy!

I am addicted to heavily encased beads. Making them is like unwinding with a stroll in the park. Making the sringers, mulitlayered ribbon and stamen canes are a large part of planning each floral focal.
As I go into my 6th year of lampworking, I continue to find time for several florals each work session.
I work with Moretti, Lauscha, Vetrofond, and Bullseye glass.
