Roses are Red

Roses are Red

(MandellaGlass)
I wanted to try and make a bundle of roses. This is what I came up with. I am not totaly satisfied. So back to the drawing board. Thanks for checking out my work!
Monet Eyes

Monet Eyes

(FiredDesires)
This bead was made with the new silver reduction glass produced by R4glass studio, Ron & Rocio Bearer.
Soft glass, coe104 compatible..so easy and beautiful. This particular color is named Monet. They also make Rocio Mist, Picasso, Chagall.

Odalisque

Odalisque

(SheilaMorley)
The Odalisque pose is a traditional
pose found in paintings throughout history. Here I have created a relief with the glass.
The use of glass as a medium for sculpture along with this pose symbolizes, for me, the liberation of women in this country (USA) or even around the world. Not only are we learning the secrets of glass...we are free from the barbaric reputation that we once had.
(Hoping that the less civilized countries free the women from those traditions).

A few more freeform

A few more freeform

(MandellaGlass)
These are a few pendant designs I have been freeforming. I am on this freeforming kick. I really like the flow that comes out when it is not uniformally shaped.
Bead Pens for the Gathering

Bead Pens for the Gathering

(L.BazCreations)
Since we couldn't attend the Gathering this year, we decided to participate from afar. I sent an embellished letter opener and Amnon sent a bead pen. This was our first attempt to use these items and I must say it was fun designing them and a little challenging getting just the right sizes.
entrapped

entrapped

(Elasia)
I trapped a small *bead inside this hollow....

alt... it is attached on one side, i ended up liking that better, adds a lot of eye interest, and functions better for easier stringing.

It is a nice fat oval, scrolls are making it look wonky.

Sea formed

Sea formed

(MandellaGlass)
These are a few free formed sea creature pendants I made. Just recently started making these and I really enjoy them. They are different than just making a regular pendant. Its like they have personality. All are made from borosilicate glass.
Pink Sunrise Dichroic Glass Flower Pendant

Pink Sunrise Dichroic Glass Flower Pendant

(GlassHouseJewelry)
Single flower fused dichroic glass pendant with sterling silver plate bail in bright orange and pink with clear/irridescent petals on top.

Professionally designed and handcrafted in my studio. I hand cut numerous layers of glass which I then fire in my kiln till I achieve the desired appearence and strength. Dichroic glass jewelry is so extremely versatile and eye catching. I find it to always be a conversation piece! Each piece is unique and one of a kind.

Something different

Something different

(LesleyMcFarland)
I decided to use this page to store my items that don't fit in with my other beads because these are experimental types. Here is where I will put for example my "paintings".
Ocean Blues Fused Dichroic Glass Pendant

Ocean Blues Fused Dichroic Glass Pendant

(GlassHouseJewelry)
Layer upon layer of fused dichroic glass is fired in my kiln several times to produce this beautiful pendant. The sterling silver bail is fused into the pendant for extra strength.

Eyec... and unique...this pendant will surely get you noticed. Measures: 1 3/4 in.(excluding the bail) x 3/4 in.

Botanical Cat Series

Botanical Cat Series

(AnnaDuhame)
These are Folk Art Cats with added embellishment, namely flowers. They have fancy "Latin" names...or should I say "Latin-ish"? The names are just for fun and not intended to be academically correct.
Fossil type beads

Fossil type beads

(LesleyMcFarland)
As I make so many of this type of bead I thought I would put them on a seperate page. I think the fossil type beads are absolutely fascinating, I will also include "stone" like beads and others that I think fall into this category.
Curved Beads

Curved Beads

(LesleyMcFarland)
This section I am just reserving for my curved beads. These are quite difficult to make but very rewarding when you see them. They are a lovely bead for a necklace, simple - just add a chain or hang on leather.
If you are interested in any of them just go to my website to see if they are available. They are all about 50mm long x 25mm wide, some are slightly smaller depending on the shape I have made.

Crafted Gems

Crafted Gems

(CarolineHannon)
Here you can view my work, feel free to leave any comments

I started lampworking in June this year after taking a class and getting totally hooked and over the last four months i've seen my beads go from being very wonky, and not so round to useable beads. I seem to be going down the organic beads route and am constantly trying out new things and experimenting with colour and glass

Kronos and Ivory Bicone

Kronos and Ivory Bicone

(E.Zelachowski)
This new glass from Double Helix is wonderful! This hand shaped bicone is a base of ivory, with silver foil and Kronos added.

Kronos starts out as a deep cobalt blue, but can reveal streaks of blue-green when heated.

I'm trying something new with the photos too. Showing some mirrored shots, and some on white base with levels corrected. I can't wait to get a new camera, with better macro!

I always appreciate feedback!
