The ever-evolving froggy collection! Guy doesn't make frogs everyday but when he decides to, he ends up making lots! When he tried his first frog almost two years ago, he said he was never going to make one again! But it bugged him too much so he had to keep practicing. So here you have snapshots of his most recent creatures. Playful and intricate!

Animals are a big part of my life - I like things that don't talk too much... Frog beads are certainly a favorite of mine to make, lately I've been using a lot of Reichenbach glass to achieve rich earthy colors.

Cathy Lybarger was my first bead instructor three years ago, I also had the incredible opportunity to work along side her for about 4 months. Cathy too is a HUGE animal fan and in her studio she has two lizards pals, Lucy and Iggy.

Lucy and Iggy are the absolute inspiration for all of my lizard beads!! I love Lucy and Iggy!!!

I think I made my first fish bead about a week after I learned to make beads. I didn't even have a kiln yet - yikes!! Since I began making these fellows, three years ago, they have gotten a lot bigger - typically a fish measures about 40mm long.
