Dave and I specialize in fantasy and naturalistic themes. Wearable glass paintings / sculptures of elves, fairies to the domestic pets. Even whales and mermaids.

Jujee Beads

Jujee Beads

(JujeeBeads)
I LOVE making critters! Many of my critters are inspired from the ocean. I SCUBA dive and try to recreate the critters I see while diving. I find it really challenging to create my version of a realistic fish. And it is also fun to just make one up with wild colors! In addition to critters, I also enjoy making floral beads.

I have been making Lampwork beads for a few years now. I am self taught but have learned many things from fellow artist. I currently sell on ebay (SamanthaBeads) I really enjoy Lampworking, and it thrills me to death to know someone is wearing a bead I made. I recently won 1st place in the Delpi online glass art festival for jewelry/torchworked glass, and one of my froggies appears in this great little book called Bead Review 2005. I update this page every few weeks so check back often! Thanks for looking! I hope you like all my creations! Feel free to send me an email at samanthabeeds@cen...
fUnKy CaT Beads

fUnKy CaT Beads

(CalmWaterStudio)
No two fUnKy CaTs are ever alike! I create each one with a unique personality and color scheme. They are fashioned after little cats I drew as a child, I would draw them and then decorate their little bodies with funky designs. Some things never change! Only now I create my cats in glass with swirls of design inspired by art, nature or just serendipity!

Fishy Beads

Fishy Beads

(ZenArtGlass)
It's been over a year since I've made any fishies so this past week I pulled out the moretti and made a school of hollow fish beads. I'd forgotten how much fun they are to make! They range in size from 2 to 3 inches.
Sea Turtles

Sea Turtles

(JoeAndDonna)
Ok, so I thought I would try my hand at sculptures! My first one was an accidental collaboration between Joe and myself. He made the implosion one night and didn't like it! I saved it from the fuglies/trash pile that we have. I think the little guy turned out ok. Hmmmmmm!!! From now on, I'll take all of your fuglies Joe.:)
BUTTERFLY PENDANTS

BUTTERFLY PENDANTS

(JeffWelsh)
Butterflies are my wife's favorite and she asks me all the time to make them! I hope you enjoy them as much! Each butterfly is made from borosilicate glass and I use a special tool to make the wings.

(EmmaGreenAtBeadEn...)
Since starting my lampworking adventure in January 2005, my skills have improved through trail and error and my bead designs have developed into an obsession with critters, aliens and well...anything that pops into my head. The more eyes or legs the better.
If it makes me smile or better still laugh whilst I am making it, then I know it's ready to sell.

Rainforestmagic

Rainforestmagic

(Rainforestmagic)
Living in Tropical Queensland Australia gives me loads of inspiration for my Lampworked Glass Beads. From the Great Barrier reef to the royal green velvet of the Daintree Rainforest I try to include the beautiful colours that I experience each day. After I create a mini scene I then incorparate my Silversmithing skills to turn a one off bead into an individual peice of personal jewellry.
Nemo and Friends

Nemo and Friends

(JoeAndDonna)
I've been trying to make Nemo for a while now, not going to show my first couple of attmepts, let's just say fugly really loud.:) I tried and tried to get the lines on them and they just blurred, then it finally came together,(light bulb went off) different technique to be sure/ they were made with dots, nothing but dots, go figure.:)

Cat bead Pendant

Cat bead Pendant

(SherrieVenghaus)
WoW, I just went to my first Cat show, ( as a vendor) and I made some cats from pictures to sell, but oh my Gosh, to see these beautiful creatures in person has left me so Inspired. I wanted to bring one of each cat home, but since I don't want to be known as the crazy cat lady I will just have to try and do them some justice in lamowork.
thanks for looking.
