Bead sets by Condor

Bead sets by Condor

(Condorglass)
Here are some of the sets that I do in different styles. I play with the glass all the time trying to see where it will lead me. Maybe some day it will give up some of its little secrets.

Sets

Sets

(FullCircle)
I really enjoy making bead sets, something about having all of those matching beads in one pile...yummy!

You'll notice some distinct changes in my color palette over the last six months. Since I have incorporated Riechenbach glass into the mix my palette of colors has doubled!! And there are so many more colors I haven't even gotten my hands on yet...

Transparents

Transparents

(LavenderCreekGlass)
I seem to use mostly opaque glass in my work. I thought it would be nice to play a bit with straight transparent glass. I find that I really love the look and it is a nice change.

soft glass, Just trying to master the need to know techniques. My partner Tanya is studying how to do all the fastenings and silver wiring techniques.

Learning the Lentil Press

Learning the Lentil Press

(JoeAndDonna)
Joe bought me a lentil press for my birthday, along with Bonnaroo weekend, which is this weekend, I'd rather be in TN doing the Roo! Anyway back to the lentil press, these beads were made this weekend, they are by no means perfect lentil shapes but i'm getting the hang of it.
An October Set

An October Set

(Circa1972)
The set wasn't actually a set to begin with. I worked a long day, went out to the kiln the next day and cleaned out my beads, strung them to dry - and they all just looked so good together. I left them that way! This is one of my favourite "sets" I've ever done.
Copper Green Goes Blue

Copper Green Goes Blue

(Circa1972)
This is from my obsessive experimentation with copper foils and enamels. Most people get a lovely lichen green with this combo. I........got blue. Hey, it is still quite lovely.
Organic Love

Organic Love

(MermaidGlass)
I love organic and abstract design beads. Nothing makes me happier when I'm working at the torch and I stumble upon some great reaction, whether it's between different glasses, or some metallic reaction. That's the joy of making the bead for me, seeing something new and (to me) amazing and unpredictable happen, then trying to control it.
Fall of 2006

Fall of 2006

(SweetwaterDesigns)
This is one of the heftiest sets I've made so far. The main ivory beads are 22mm round lentils and about 10mm in depth. Lots of gold leaf on these ..the honey tones in the amber accent beads highlight the gold in the ivory. Please visit me on my web log at sweetwaterdesigns... ID: sweetwater_designs

Another group of potpourri bead sets. I make whatever my muse whispers to me, so, I really don't have a signature bead. You'll always have an array of different styles to look at.
Big Blue Frit Rounds

Big Blue Frit Rounds

(E.Zelachowski)
16 large round beads. Uroboros clear rolled in a blue based frit combo. Each bead is approx. 16-17mm from hole to hole and in diameter! There are over 8 inches of beads in this set.

Hi, my name is Diana and I work out of my little basement studio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
This is a sampling of the sets I have made and sold on Ebay. This is a new art media for me and I love it. I also work with wood sculpting, oil and water color painting. Melting glass is quickly becoming my favorite art form.
Hope you enjoy my work. If you are interested in buying some of my beads, you can find me on Ebay under the user id diana1375.
Thanks for looking!
Diana
