Birds Flying in th...
I like birds. I wish I had wings like them. I let them fly in the sky of my beads.

Rainforestmagic
(
Rainforestmagic

Living in Tropical Queensland Australia gives me loads of inspiration for my Lampworked Glass Beads. From the Great Barrier reef to the royal green velvet of the Daintree Rainforest I try to include the beautiful colours that I experience each day. After I create a mini scene I then incorparate my Silversmithing skills to turn a one off bead into an individual peice of personal jewellry.
Trees
(
AnnaDuhame
)
I am such a great lover of trees! My maiden name, Derrough is of Gaelic orgin meaning "Black Oak". The ancient Celts had a great respect for the trees and felt them to be actual spiritual beings. Here I have tree goddesses, Norse Mythological trees (Yggdrasil), and the Celtic Tree of Life.
Nemo and Friends
(
JoeAndDonna
)
I've been trying to make Nemo for a while now, not going to show my first couple of attmepts, let's just say fugly really loud.:) I tried and tried to get the lines on them and they just blurred, then it finally came together,(light bulb went off) different technique to be sure/ they were made with dots, nothing but dots, go figure.:)
Spotted Hollow Fish Pendant
(
SherrieVenghaus
)
I just love to make these fun fish !! Any time I learn a new color combination in glass I have to put it on a fish. They are always Hollow and they have to have RED KISSING LIPS !!
Mermaids
(
SherrieVenghaus
)
Mermaids have to be the most time consuming piece that I make, I love to try new glass combinations on there tails. I am still experimiting with different hair colors from just browns, red heads to blondes, I enjoy making the cane and just adding a stripe of something different to add a little more color to the hair.
Bracelets
(
AnnaDuhame
)
I really like making bracelets the best as far as jewelry is concerned...I have been currently working on themed bracelets, with little charms that match the beads.
Seashells
(
AnnaDuhame
)
I love making these! It is fun to see people do a double take when they look at them....my latest are a bit more whimsical with exotic colors, so that isn't as likely to happen.
SEA TURTLE
(
SherrieVenghaus
)
WOW NOW THESE ARE FUN TO MAKE !! I AM HAVING A BLAST MAKING SEA TURTLES WITH FUNKY SHELL BACKS !! MY FAVORITE HAS TO BE THE COMBINATION OF THE AQUARIUM BEAD FOR THE SHELL !! CHECK OUT MY WEB SITE TO PURCHASE OR JUST BROWSE THE GALLERY !! NOTICE THE NEWEST ADDITION TO THE SEATURTLES -- THIER EYES !!
THANKS FOR LOOKING, SHERRIE V.
Send in the Clowns
(
PERAZAbeadsandjew...
)
Send in the clowns in a 20 bead set - could be worn as necklace with the head and collar used as the focal piece - or wire it (as shown) and use as a figurine! This is my first of what could be many clown designs.
Necklaces
(
AnnaDuhame
)
I usually make bracelets because I have a hard time settling down to make a whole set...usually after about 5 beads I am ready to move on to something new, but I am trying to change that.
My Electroformed Beads
(
FireDanceLampwork...
)
Electroplating is the process of using electricity and chemicals to cover an object with a thin layer of metal.
The difference between electroplating and electroforming is the thickness of the layer of metal that is applied. If it is heavy enough to stand on it's own it"s considered electroforming.
Electroforming is the process I use to get the metal on my lampworked pieces.
Palm Trees
(
AnnaDuhame
)
I put these under a sculptural category because these beads have palm trees that have been created in raised relief. All of the palm tree components are individually created before I begin to make the beads.
ARTEMIS LAMPWORK Noah's Ark
(
ArtemisLampwork
)
Beautiful intricately detailed Noah's Ark themed beads, created by using my own handmade cane. Details include animal pairs, including Giraffe, Elephant, Pig, Horse, Sheep, Snake & Fish designs, on Effetre glass wrapped in reactive Frit. I have included matching Gold Adventurine Squeezies, Barrels & Rondelles, as well as a bunch of matching Freshwater Pearls for your jewelry making needs! After a nice long soak in my kiln, these lovelies are ready for your most beautiful designs!
Artemis Lampwork Cat's Meow
(
ArtemisLampwork
)

I have included matching Rondelles for your jewelry making needs! After a nice long soak in my kiln, these lovelies are ready for your most beautiful designs!
Owen
(
L.BazCreations
)
I've been at the torch trying to make something out of the ordinary to send to the Gathering 2006 in Kansas City. Owen isn't going though. He's staying home with us because he has such a big mouth!
