Cakes

Cakes

(WhitneyStreetStudio)
I love to make specialty cake beads. My wedding cake beads have been published in The Craft's Report and have been seen in several other publications in advertisements. In addition, I make birthday cake beads in both multi-tiers and single layers. Beads that look good enough to eat *(though it is not recommended!).
Figural/Sculptural

Figural/Sculptural

(WhitneyStreetStudio)
I *never* make sculptural beads, but I ventured out once and made this lovely version of Carmen Miranda. If ever there be another Carmen to emerge from my kiln she is already spoken for...she will go to Ellen Dooley.

This gallery also contains my most recent figural beads, including Dia de los Muertos and Our Lady of Fatima.

(SamanthaBeads)
I have been making Lampwork beads for a few years now. I am self taught but have learned many things from fellow artist. I currently sell on ebay (SamanthaBeads) I really enjoy Lampworking, and it thrills me to death to know someone is wearing a bead I made. I recently won 1st place in the Delpi online glass art festival for jewelry/torchworked glass, and one of my froggies appears in this great little book called Bead Review 2005. I update this page every few weeks so check back often! Thanks for looking! I hope you like all my creations! Feel free to send me an email at Samanthabeeds@cen...
Chocolate

Chocolate

(MoniquedaSilva)
I'm thrilled to say that the first chocolate bracelet I made took 1st place in the Wearable Arts Competition in conjunction with the West Coast Chocolate Festival. And the second Bracelet is on it's way over to Starfish Glassworks in Victoria to be displayed as part of the biannual Molten Obsessions Show of contemporary Canadian Beadmakers. It was a fun job to tackle, I really learned a lot. To make them 'look right' I really had to think dripping chocolate not glass. Overall I think it was a sweet success!
Fish Beads

Fish Beads

(JohnRizzi)
One thing I really enjoy creating are my unique fish sculptures. First I choose a few basic colors & frits for the initial color scheme. Then I work step by step until the life and personality of each fish reveals itself.
the Ice Storm

the Ice Storm

(BarbaraA.Caraway)
There's a crab apple tree which sits directly in front of the kitchen window, and it's the first thing I look at in the morning while having coffee.

This is part of series about the tree, and the weather.

Some Czech seed bead infilling, but I lampworked the iced branches, berries and crabapples.

My answer to Christmas-y beads.

Spring (Beltaine)

Spring (Beltaine)

(BarbaraA.Caraway)
One in a series of druidic necklaces depicting the four seasons. Lampworked leaves, morels, dogwood blossoms, bees, bird/nest and eggs, with Czech glass bead infilling.
Jujee Beads

Jujee Beads

(JujeeBeads)
I LOVE making critters! Many of my critters are inspired from the ocean. I SCUBA dive and try to recreate the critters I see while diving. I find it really challenging to create my version of a realistic fish. And it is also fun to just make one up with wild colors! In addition to critters, I also enjoy making floral beads.
Sculpted Rose Beads

Sculpted Rose Beads

(PERAZAbeadsandjew...)
These are just a few of the sculpted rose beads I have made along with some jewelry items made using the beads. I am proud to announce that in November of 2004, I released my first DVD Tutorial on how to make these beautiful rose beads.
Crazy Lily

Crazy Lily

(WhitneyStreetStudio)
A variation of the original Crazy Dazy Series, these lily beads are more sculptural with petals reaching upward and the tips of the petals extending back down emulating a real flower. But these are no ordinary flowers. New for Spring 2005!
The Littlest Mermaid!

The Littlest Mermaid!

(KatherineWetherin...)
A super teenie little mermaid lounging on a rock. She has a mutli- faceted tail of scales, tri color hair, a 3 - d fin and a treasure chest overflowing with gold coins, rubies, pearls etc... Very petite and light for wearabilty at a mere 27 mm!

Orchid Pendants

Orchid Pendants

(Christina)
These were a little tricky for me to figure out, but after I stared at an orchid for about an hour this is what I was able to make. Unfortunately a few got destoyed before I could even photograph them. They can be pretty delicate so I have been making them a bit thicker lately.
