August Gardens.......

August Gardens.......

(WhitneyStreetStudio)
The end of the summer brings on new colors as the gardens begin to fade away and New England's cool nights beging to set in. This time of year inspires new beads in the colors of the end of summer.
Crazy Dazy in the City

Crazy Dazy in the City

(WhitneyStreetStudio)
This new version of the Crazy Dazy is selling like mad. Many thanks to Beadwork Magazine for using our beads in the October issue in The Challenge.

Editor in Chief, Jean Campbell, made a stunning feminine bracelet with our beads. Dustin Wedekind, the Senior Editor, made a fun spiky garden barrette, and Jamie Hogsett, the Project Editor, made a funky-chunky bracelet. Right now she is working on a piece using our beads that might even end up in a spring issue!

Golden Sunset at Giverny

Golden Sunset at Giverny

(DebraDowden-Crockett)
This bead was created from my memories of visiting Monet's garden at Giverny. The Fall Dahlias there were stunning. This is a Beautiful Floral Focal with Flowers in three shades - pink, blue, and violet. Gold leaf and varying shades of pink and blue, like a sunset on an Autumn day, serve as the canvas.
My Gardens in Glass

My Gardens in Glass

(RosemaryTottosy)
Floral beads are my passion. I'm always trying to find new ways to manipulate glass and properties to get more interesting effects. My main focus is to create a watercolor effect. I hand mix many of my colors so each set is one of a kind.

I am self taught, and began this journey in Sept. of 2003.

So, here are some beads I am most proud of and you can often find my beads on Ebay under the ID of *rosebeads* or my website at rosebeads.net

... for looking!

Florals - Phase One

Florals - Phase One

(StarlightDesigns)
These floral beads are primarily the "simplest" form of florals I do, generally four or five flowers on each bead, with or without a striped green vine.
Florals - Phase Two

Florals - Phase Two

(StarlightDesigns)
These are a "step up" from my Phase One type florals. These typically have four or five large flowers accompanied by several smaller flowers. These are slightly more difficult and time consuming to do than the Phase One series.

Floral Cane Beads

(FyreBeadz)
I have finally learned how to do cane floral work, after much Blood, Sweat & Tears. It finally just all started to come together a few weeks ago. These beads are the 2nd time it worked for me and I just had to string them into a necklace............ 2005
