crazy new pendant

crazy new pendant

(DeMoss)
Here is a new style of pendant I tried. I've noticed that the glass either looks better in a photo or worse. In this case it looks way cooler in person.....oh well.

~ Opal Implosion Pendants ~

(FireDanceGlass)
These Implosion pendants have a Gilson Opal encased in the center. The surface is wrapped in color and is fumed with a suspended bubble in each suface dot.
Orchid Pendants

Orchid Pendants

(Christina)
These were a little tricky for me to figure out, but after I stared at an orchid for about an hour this is what I was able to make. Unfortunately a few got destoyed before I could even photograph them. They can be pretty delicate so I have been making them a bit thicker lately.
Finally....one for me!

Finally....one for me!

(DeMoss)
It seems like all I do is make stuff for other people. I decided to treat myself to a new pendant and this is what I came up with. I think it is pretty cool and I haven't seen anything else like it yet.
Standard Honeycomb

Standard Honeycomb

(RKGlasswork)
These are the more basic type of honeycombs that I make. They are coilpotted with one or two colors (often times silver fumed) with only one layer of clear dots.
Dichro

Dichro

(RKGlasswork)
What is Dichro? Dichroic Glass is created from blending transparent glass sheets with precious metals that form a micron thin coating-Dichro. Metal on glass.

I use dichro from a few different companies so I am able to use a wide range of different colors of dicro. If you look closely at my pendants, NONE of the dicro is burnt out!

Acid Drops

Acid Drops

(alteredstatecreat...)
I love making these...random and unexpected colours means I'm never entirely sure how they're going to turn out until I open the kiln the next day!

All measure around 1",give or take, and have either multicolour and/or sparkle loops.

Water and Sky

Water and Sky

(NewberyArtGlass)
Personal Adornment is one of our earliest forms of expression.

Here the personal adornment I wear. Inspired by the Sky and Water created from the Earth.

The Flame Bug

The Flame Bug

(Malta)
My partner Nicky descided one day to turn on the burner...four months later she comes up with this pendant! Figure that out....we compete on who gets to the burner first...never thought that would happen. I wish her all the best she is just brilliant.
Sea Turtles

Sea Turtles

(JoeAndDonna)
Ok, so I thought I would try my hand at sculptures! My first one was an accidental collaboration between Joe and myself. He made the implosion one night and didn't like it! I saved it from the fuglies/trash pile that we have. I think the little guy turned out ok. Hmmmmmm!!! From now on, I'll take all of your fuglies Joe.:)
BUTTERFLY PENDANTS

BUTTERFLY PENDANTS

(JeffWelsh)
Butterflies are my wife's favorite and she asks me all the time to make them! I hope you enjoy them as much! Each butterfly is made from borosilicate glass and I use a special tool to make the wings.

Sculptured Flowers

Sculptured Flowers

(JoeAndDonna)
Women love flowers of any kind. Whether its one or a whole bunch. Men, just to let you know, Women love flowers! I myself love them all, but sure am partial to Roses. (You reading this Joe). Here are some flower sculptures that I made like pendants, as you can see you can wear these on big slides or small ones. Joe red is my favortie! :)
Sea Horse Angel

Sea Horse Angel

(JoeAndDonna)
This little guy started out as a sea dragon/ but changed his mind and mine too/ seems he just didn't want to be a dragon at all/ he wanted to be an angel and since I wasn't working on an angel at the time I just added little angel wings. The little fellow seemed happy with his wings, although he did tell me next time to make them really look like feathers! A little demanding don't you think?
Mandella Glass

Mandella Glass
