Fused Dichroic Glass Pendants

(PacificArtsandGlass)
These fused glass pendants are made of various shapes and colors of Bullseye, Uroboros and Spectrum dichroic glass. Due to the color shift of dichroic glass in the kiln, it's always a surprise to see what comes out of a firing!

a few different styles of pendants i make. the image with all the pendants and marbles is supposed to give an idea of the relative size of the pieces. the biggest marble is about 2.5 inches in diameter.

please excuse the poor image quality. i am still learning how to photograph my glass. i just figured mediocre photographs are better than no photographs... am i wrong?

Opal Pendants

Opal Pendants

(MattMclamb)
Gilson opal pendants with black, white, green, or blue opals. Gilson opals were produced in a lab. The laboratory opal producing process was first invented by Pierre Gilson, Sr. of France in 1974. This process produces a kaleidoscope of colors. The Gilson formula is considered the truest gemological process in the world today, and considered by many gemologists to be the world’s finest laboratory grown opal. This process takes from 14 to 18 months, and the colors are natural with no treatment or enhancements. Unlike its natural counterpart, this created opal is much tougher and not prone to breaking. It gets it’s hardness because it contains no water, unlike natural opals which do contain water.

Aquarium Beads and Paperweights 2004-2005

Aquarium Beads and Paperweights 2004-2005

(AndrewJ.Pollack)
These beads are made with my own fish murrine inserted inside a tube with twisties, fumed dots, etc... and then condensed down. They are assembled into necklaces, using semi-prescious stones - onyx, coral, pearls, czek crystal, etc.. All findings are either bali or sterling silver.

(FireDanceGlass)
My galaxy pendants are made with dichroic glass. Each piece is made with a galaxy chip that I create before the pendant making process begins. The surface is wrapped with a window of color and fumed with pure gold and silver, creating shifting tones of a burnt orange to vibrant sage green. Each dot has a bubble suspended in it. Enjoy!

The shell is a pendant made from a decorated bubble. I used GA amazon bronze and GA carmel luster for the dots. The back is fumed with sliver. I formed the head and fins with a gather of northstar caramel with clear and transparent green dots. On the underside of the pendant between the head and shell is a loop.

Isaac Or -Glass Jewelry

Isaac Or -Glass Jewelry

(IsaacOr-glassJewelry)
Isaac Or, live and work in
Israel, industrial
designer and international
rafting and river rescue expert.
His experience in glass art was
acquired in Seattle, (U.S.A.),
a worldwide glassblowing center.
His work is hand made.
Each and every bead is
especially designed in shape
and color as part of the fusion
process. Every item is unique,
numbered and signed by the artist.

The raw material used is Italian
Murano glass form of colored
bars, which is renowned for
its high quality.
During the process of creating
the beads, the glass bar is
smelted at temperature of 900
degrees Celsius and wound
around a thin iron rod called
a "Mandrel".
Once the designing stage is
completed, the temperature of
the bead is reduced in a
controlled manner, in order to
avoid internal pressure.
The iron rod is then removed and
thus the hole of the bead is formed.
