Haven't made too many in awhile. Same as they ever was. 2-1/16"

(KenanTiemeyer)
I made a number of these eye marbles a ways back. Used to make them with "Kimble" brand boro that was discontinued in 2003. I have heard from some folks that I can't make them now that the "fume friendly" Kimble does not exist. While the treatment of the newer Kimble (post '03) is different and the results are not quite the same. It is very possible to still make these eye marbles. This one is Kimble on the front and Simax on the back. This is the largest I have made to date. Still a challenge.

Exploding Planet #14

(EugeneRain)
The story for this one is written by Shelton Wilder. He has also done the photography. Thank you Shelton, you have touched our hearts.
--------... Planet #14

Signed, dated and Numbered
M&M '06 EP #14
------------... she held his orb in her hands. A generous three inches, Aureole was excited to have a big one again.

This sphere was Big Bang fourteen. He sent Aureole these maps after each of the explosions. Magical like all the others, this thermo-fused cosmic map was an encrypted in crystal and chemically etched message from his heart. It was created with the deepest hope that someday she might find her way home again or even survive.

~Reticell-O-Sphere #2~

(Bashi)
The second entry in the "Retticell-O-Sphere" series. This time around the retti is more defined and I added some Unobtainium around the equator to give that touch of sparkle. When viewing in good light you can see all the way through the poles which gives this marble a truly ethereal appearance.

This double sided marble features A cobalt/white reticello, switchback plate and pinwheeled border. The cobalt developed some interesting red undertones from it's long soak in the kiln. 2''

Who would Jesus Bomb?

(DeMoss)
Seriously, who would Jesus Bomb?

Politics and Religion in one marble. Well I guess they do go hand in hand.

This is a big 2 3/4 in. marble. On the inside it has Jesus and Satan facing off with flames licking at their feet and heads.

On the back is the very serious question of "Who would Jesus bomb?"

Here is another air trap marble. Silver and gold fume. I started making these hollow/air trap marbles in January this year (07). They are sealed while hot with no holes or marks. This has been an ongoing exploration with trapped air and fume. Thank you for checking them out. -Andrew Groner

Eyes and More!

Some more of the Marbles that went to the Ve1gas Show. Some Eyeballs, some fumers and a bowtie.... These are some of the biggest eyes I've ever made as well as some of my favorites!

A little more of that T-Dub influence in some of these!

The Eyecon is going to my sister for her birthday, she's and optometrist too :-)

Hip to be square

(EugeneRain)
Hip to be square is filled with blue-green metallic mirrored squares. The great thing about the squares is how deep they appear in hand, very 3 dimensional due to the amount of clear over each one. The mirror effect the squares give is very fun, give it a spin in your hand and watch it reflect light in many ways. The subtle purple fading into blue adds a lot of feeling too. Measuring in at 1.9 inches. Discreetly signed and dated M&M '05.
