Wine Anyone?

Wine Anyone?

(ErikHagstrom)
Goblets are so hard to get a perfect pair, so here are some singles. Maybe someday they will get a matching set or maybe someone out there might want one lonely goblet for their own.
Angelic Goblet

Angelic Goblet

(JulieR.Riggs)
This Goblet was ordered specifically to have a light cobalt body with cobalt and dark cobalt wings. Above the angels head sits an encased black opal. The top is adorned with a dicro image with dark cobalt backing.
Venus de Merlot

Venus de Merlot

(JulieR.Riggs)
This Goblet features a torso stem(caramel with paracilicate white coating) entwined in grape vines and leafs. Ruby red grapes adorn the top and base and wrap over the shoulders.
First Goblet

First Goblet

(JulieR.Riggs)
This is a piece I made during Roger Parramores class to Penland School of Crafts in August 2002. I had only been working with glass for a year and a half at the time.
It was my 3rd figure I had ever attempted and my first goblet. The Mermaid is clear and sandblasted with a design running down the sides of her tail.

Mexicali Sunset Goblets

Mexicali Sunset Goblets

(LucidVisions)
I created these goblets for client Mary Greiner. I love the contrast of the black and yellow along with the gradiant gold and silver fume on the tops and feet.

The dichro center piece of this goblet rotates 360 degrees. It was an experiment that turned out really well. The rest of these goblets are some others I have made recently.
Spore Tumbler

Spore Tumbler

(FrankSmith)
This is an early attempt at a tumbler with techniques I learned from Cameron Smith and Jan Thomas. It was made in 2001 at the Do U Glass Hot Shop in Murphysboro Illinois.

This is the only image I have of things I've made, But I hope to add more images as time permits.

my good friends john and steph finally got married, so here's what i made them. i knew it would have been a waste of time to make him a wine glass, i wanted them to actually use the stuff.

"Vessel of the Goddess"

(CaseyE.Bergschultz)
This is one of my favs'. As You can see it's tough to photo with a child! Onxy-Stem / Peacock underlay with Amazon Night on surface> vessel / Peacock chamealon frit + slver fume> Foot Inside of vessel & stem > Sandblasted 12.25" tall And that's my boy...piper Talon. Soon to be a flame crusader.

Onxy female figure study

Onxy female figure study

(MicahEvans)
the pictured are hard to see, but this is probably one of my better female figures. The goblet barely fit in the kiln, it stands a hair under 24 inches tall.
4 Section Drinking Cup or a Vase Top

4 Section Drinking Cup or a Vase Top

(MattHess)
The colors use for this piece were NS Onyx and GA Aqua Azul. The piece measures about 6" tall and about 4" wide at the top. This piece was also made after the R.M. demo between the bowl and the footed bowl. Using the Aqua Azul 4mm rods on the outside saved me allot of time on this one. Much Love to GA for the 4mm,6mm,10mm selection they are offering.
