A caramel fairy with ruby red hair stretches out playfully upside down resting on gold fumed wings. Wrapped around her leg is the vine of the orchid resting atop her foot. The center of the ruby and caramel orchid is a perfume bottle.

Sandcarved Bottle with Art Nouveau motif. I've been perfecting several color schemes, other than the traditional luster colors, that lend themselves to sandcarving and this is one of the better ones.

This is a nice display of several styles I can do in perfume bottles. There is outside spirals of every color, inside out with and with out fuming, as well as blow outs.

Jodi actually got into lampworking because she wanted to learn how to make vessels! We have both recently started blowing small vessels. Jodi has a tutorial on our website teaching her wire wrapping techniques shown on all of our vessels and we also sell the tiny corks for the vessels on our website.

This piece was a collab by Mike Friedman(FRITO), resident artist at Buttermilk Studio's, and Mike Eastman from 11th Hour Glass. The vessel was made with Nebula dicro, cherry, cobalt, star white, and turbo. The stem features a cobalt woman kneeling, surrounded by Cane, holding up the vessel.

This perfume bottle was made with Colormax Laveder and Colormax Light Green with gold fume stripes and hobnail patternwork. The piece is pure color. The dropper piece is ground to fit and is water tight.

Bottles start out as hollow beads so have a larger internal space. Vessels have only the space left by a 1/4 inch mandrel.

If you wish to carry a lock of your True Love's hair ......pick a bottle.....if you wish to carry esential oils....a vessel would be enough.
