Cobalt and Aqua Branch Bowl

Last summer my husband was growing cherry tomatoes and they were all over the counters.. I looked for an interesting bowl to put them in and found that I did not have one... so,, I made one..and here it is... It's amazing what we can create when the need arises!!*=) This bowl was really fun to make.. I just kinda let the glass dictate what it wanted to be.. It ended up 6" around and 3" from the counter to the highest point. I have been playing with this style for the last year on many different sculptures.Something about it just strikes a cord in me right now....I can't get enough!!

Habitat

Flameworked glass with a welded steel frame. Think this is one of my favorites so far. It is the easiest to assemble and the frame doesn't show at all. 46"W x 36"H

Lady is Blue

Sometimes being lazy can pay off. I created this lady on a miniCC because I was too lazy to switch to my Lucio burner. I needed a large brown base and, since the miniCC flame was kind of small, the hollow became a bit wonkie - and the lady fit right in. Someday I'll come up with better names.

Blue Daisy Unity Candle Holder

I was asked to create a special piece for a young couples wedding. They had seen my sculpture, Melt Down on a Daisy of a Day, and wanted something along those lines.. Their wedding colors were the same Carribean Blue and almost a Tangerine Orange.. I honestly didn't know what I would make.. but..I just kept making flowers and adding vines until I realized I was finished ... And here it is..take a peek..leave a comment..Have a Delightful Day!!!

Handblown Glass Moss Earrings

Handblown glass matching cabochons were created by encasing colored moss green glass with clear glass for magnification. These cabochons were then annealed and attached to post style earrings at a later date. This shade of moss green has a beautiful luster of sparkles, truly breath taking and handmade with love!
