Early Sets

Here is a sampling of some of my earliest work...beads I made within my first 4 months as a bead maker. Some are pretty nice, others not so great, but they all taught me something. You'll see several different styles and techniques. Be sure to check out my other gallery pages (the work is much better ;) )! Enjoy, and remember, comments, requests, and questions are always welcome.

Me Assisting Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen - Ox-Bow 2005

In June 2005, I had the privilege of taking a glass sculpting class taught by Karen Willenbrink-Johnson and Jasen Johnson at Ox-Bow art school. It was *fantastic* to see them work and learn from them! I was able to assist during a couple of demos, turning pipe and getting heats. Here are some photos.

Unearthed Series

An encased opal is surrounded by over 10 layers of glass. A window is then cut into the pendant showing the layers of glass and the opal within. Lots of depth and detail, and they resemble a stone geode. Custom orders welcome. Wholesale available.

Water Lilies

These beads have a very aquatic feel to them. Filled with hues of blue and green, and accented with a background of subtle sparkle. This is one of my Van Gogh inspired color schemes. Custom orders and Wholesale inquiries welcome.
