Cracked desert floor Fossil

System 96 glass powder on kiln paper. Misted and manipulated into the kiln. fired into the appearance of cracked desert floor. Fossil later tack fires on.

Bluegill

Close view - A Bluegill swims in the front panel of this 2 paneled glass fusing artwork composition. A Tully monster fossil is seen within a stone’s surface. Multiple layers add textural depth to the surface. Voids below the base unit create the lake floor pattern of the water’s movement. . The two panels are bracketed together and when mounted are 20” wide x 19” high x 1 ¾” deep.

Bluegill

Flutter-by- Monarch and Violets

Four monarch butterflies float away while flowing over several voids. Each space varies in width and depth creating a succession of wing curves adding visual movement. Multiple layers of fusing glass pieces, powders, and chips create this glass fused artwork. A field of blue violets in the fore panel and a transparent main monarch is based in clear glass adding further depth. The two panels are bracketed together and when mounted are 20 1/8” wide x 19” high x 2” deep.

Painted Turtle Pond

A painted turtle stands on a log near a pond while a dragonfly rests on a stem of grass near the shoreline. Multiple layers of fusing glass pieces, powders, and chips create this glass fused artwork. Voids under the plants create a flowing effect for additional depth. Ripples are formed on and below the surface of the water. The two panels are bracketed together and when mounted are 20 ½” wide x 19” high x 2” deep.
