'Flight Pattern' by Mark Leputa

Another piece I made while at the Pilchuck Glass School. The engraved lines were cut with a V-wheel and then painted with low-fire enamels. The engraved pattern was inspired by a map of the flight patterns of airplanes leaving and returning to their hub cities. blown, cut, polished, engraved, and enameled glass steel blue over white over citron with white enamel paint 7.5" x 9.5" x 8" approx. 2009 Pilchuck, Session 1
