Jellyfish

Came up with the idea of how to make these jellyfish about a year ago but got too busy and never perfected it so I decided to try again. Still not quite there but I think I will be able to make some good sized Jellyfish with this method. 4.5" H

Assorted Marbles

So along with my Eyeballs I tried a few other things out.... I tried a few eyes in the way Kenan Tiemeyer does his, but they just didn't come out right... I have the idea conceptually but when I try to manifest it on this physical plane it doesn't work correctly... but I did get some really cool fuming effects that I shall experiment with more in the future. I also did my first airtrap marble. it's a little guy. and it's a total Anakin bite, but it was pretty tasty!!! There's also a honeycomb and a monster marble and maybe more... Enjoy!! Aloha

Eyedea and Abilities

Here's some pics of the second set of eye marbles I made... some are better then others, and then there's a few other marbles that I made. There was 10 eyes from batch two. Let me know what you think.... These are fun to set up in random places on little o-rings where people don't expect them... Medicine Cabinets, Pantry, next to the coffee table, or anywhere else that they'll catch someone off guard!!! He He He!!! Aloha!!!

Filigrana Octopus Sculpture

Visit us at www.SookeyGlassStudios.com Saleem Sookey’s glass sculpture is often inspired by nature. His subjects foundation may be based on a natural form and is then manipulated into it’s own expression. Utilizing an organic shape Saleem exaggerates it based on his concept. The finished glass sculpture becomes a response to the environment that we live in.

"Deep Forest"

As with many of his works, Drury used recycled/Repurposed glass and powdered Thompson Enamel to make the sculpture. "I think we should all be working toward a 100 percent environmentally sustainable world in our art and in our lives," Drury said.

"Dark Matter" (SOLD)

The work, called "Dark Matter," will be on display at the center where scientists research dark matter. That is matter that does not emit or reflect enough electromagnetic radiation to be detected directly but whose presence might be inferred from its gravitational effects on visible matter.
