Jason Lee and Marbleslinger collab 1 of 8. 2002.

Jason Lee and Marbleslinger. no 1 of 8 made in august 2002 in Burlington, VT. Jason did the green wig wag and i filled in the center window. We each kept one marble out of the series and this one is in my personal collection. Been meaning to take some photos of it forever. Each mib had a matching wig wag window and then different elements added to that. These were really fun to make, and i've been meaning to expand on this idea since then. Mad props to the GURU Mr Jason LEE, one of my biggest personal influences to challenge myself in this medium. Never ending thanx Jason, i might have given this glass thing up along time ago if it wasnt for your positive energy and friendship

Exploding Planet #14

The story for this one is written by Shelton Wilder. He has also done the photography. Thank you Shelton, you have touched our hearts. ------------------------- Exploding Planet #14 3 inches Signed, dated and Numbered M&M '06 EP #14 ------------------------- Trembling, she held his orb in her hands. A generous three inches, Aureole was excited to have a big one again. This sphere was Big Bang fourteen. He sent Aureole these maps after each of the explosions. Magical like all the others, this thermo-fused cosmic map was an encrypted in crystal and chemically etched message from his heart. It was created with the deepest hope that someday she might find her way home again or even survive. Please read the rest of this story here. http://imageevent.com/pyrochixrock/glass/roundthings/explodingplanetseries/explodingplanet14 thanks!

Electrician

This was the last sectional vessel I made. It is a stoppered bottle with stand, I had cracking issues with the base and even though it was one of the most succesful visually, it was an enginering problem. A good friend fell in love with it and convinced me to let him add it to his collection, even with a flaw or too. I am glad he has it but not so glad it fell apart! If your out there Greg, as soon as I get a kiln big enough I will fix it, I promise! Be patient, after its fixed it better last the rest of your life cuz one fix is all you get.......even if it takes a couple of years.

Exploring the Fragile Reef

Exploring the Fragile Reef - Lead Crystal Glass - 2004 (9 Components) H - 300 mm x W - 250 mm H - 12" x W 10" Exploring the Fragile Reef is a component sculpture composed of 9 pieces. This sculpture allows the viewer to manipulate and change the composition at will. Though glass is obviously a fragile material the Coral Reef's surrounding earth are similarly fragile in nature. The abstract element's of nature can take on a personnel creative expression.
