2010 Flower

Been awhile since I sculpted one of these flowers, I was pleased with the overall turnout. The striking color in the petals reminds me of fall leaves. 8 inches long 4.5 inches wide

Tektites Pendant

Here's a piece of Moldavite and a piece of Georgiaite encased in separate "marbles" in this pendant. Moldavite is a Tektite, it is a piece of "ejecta" from a meteorite that struck the Earth an amazing 14.6 million years ago! Moldavite is only found in a few places on Earth and is expected to be gone in less than 10 years due to it's skyrocketing popularity. Georgiaite is also a tektite. It is from the Chesapeake Impact Crater formed by a meteorite some 35 million years ago. Georgiaite is even more rare than Moldavite. The Moldavite is in the top "marble". Notice the slightly lighter green color. The Georgiaite is in the bottom "marble". Notice the darker green-brown color.

Amber Purple Precious Petals

Hand blown glass pendant was created on an oxygen/propane torch. The borosillicate colored glass was sculpted in the flame to create this beautiful leaf pattern, one of a kind glass pendant. A wonderful display of color, subtle shades of amber and purple are the focal point. The amber purple blends and flows through different shades of color, from blues to pinks to purples in this stunning leaf pendant. The shades of color in this pendant remind me of fall leaves around my home state of illinois. The floral pattern focal point has great texture that is even more amazing in person. This glass pendant was annealed for long shelf life and attached to an 18" sterling silver chain. The glass pendant measures 1 inch from top to bottom. If your interested in more of my work make sure to check out my store! Truly one of a kind and handmade with love. If you are interested in just the pendant please contact me and I will deduct $15 from the auction.

Christmas time contest entry

I spent three days working on this piece all together. I took patience breaks whenever I felt frustrated, the tree took the longest, doing each branch. I tried to put as much love into this piece as I could. Thanks for checking it out.
