Ornaments 2009

Making Christmas ornaments has become a tradition in the Juno Glass studio, and we hear that some folks are starting a collection. This year, instead of making a new group, we focused on improving our angels, trees, etc. to a higher standard. Enjoy!

My pieces for The Colorado Project art auction

The auction was held on August 8th, 2009. To view more of the donated pieces check out.... http://www.thecoloradoproject.com/donated-art/ Many thanks to all those artists who supported the cause and donated such great pieces. This small bowl with female figure was entitled "Make a Splash" and the pendant "Serpent's Treasure". Both are made entirely out of Amber-Purple rod and tubing and clear. Thanks for looking

Scraps and Imperfections

I hate throwing anything away. This is some of the stuff that has built up on and around my table over the last year...decided I should wear it.

Lunar Moon

A translucent harvest moon shines above a lunar moth unfolded. Layers of fused glass pieces, powders, and chips create a textural surface and shading in this glass fusing artwork.

"Contemporary Traditions"

Flameworked glass chandelier with welded steel frame 4'2"H x 32"W. Figured I'd mix some traditional style with something a bit more interesting.

Female Flame Off 2009

Trinity Glassworks, Dallas, TX. October 17th- 19th. Thanks to all who supported and participated in another great event. Thanks Roze! We all had a great time, and supported the Texas Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association. These girls (and guys in drag) did a wonderful job! The mystery box theme was picked out of a hat from phrases chosen by the participants. This year's theme was "In the Garden"

Orchid Harvest Moon

A purple orchid is in full bloom in a harvest moon night sky. Light can be seen coming through the moon creating additional depth in the multi-layered glass fusing. Powdered fused glass and chips add depth texture and shading.
