Hello again! It has been a while, but I've been very busy. After the International Glass Art Fair in Holland things turned out quite well for me, and more and more Galleries line up to expose my work.... It has been a big surprise for me, but I'm curious what you think about it.... Greetz from the Netherlands. David

Bashi & Cuatro Perfume Bottle Collab

Bashi and I have been collaborating through the mail recently, He made the perfume vase and I made the stopper. Silver fume and unobtainium are the main colors used, with some light teal as well. Bashi is fun to work with, our collaborations have given me many new ideas to work on. I look foreward to more mail work in the future!

'Hughes' by Mark Leputa

I titled this piece 'Hughes' because it reminds me of the 80s for some reason and I wanted to name it accordingly. So I named it after the great writer and director John Hughes, whom has created such 80s cinematic masterpieces as the Breakfast Club, Weird Science, Ferris Buelers Day Off, Pretty in Pink, etc. black and gold ruby extra (with an outline of white on the cuts) blown, cut, and polished glass 9 inches by 6 inches 2006 NZ

Melting Snow

These beads are made with pixie dust & handblown shards which create the illusion of melting snow. The round beads are rolled in crystal frit which gives the illusion of snowballs.

new figural pieces

The first piece is an ode to the fore runner of our fast food nation, the drive-up restaurant waitress. Here she is pictured in all her roller skating glory, delivering to your overweight belly a healthy meal of about 50 burgers, hotdogs, fries and sodas. MMMMMMMMMM.....enjoy. 10.5" tall The second piece is pretty self explanatory. Gas mask, AK47, tattered black flag, 9 oil barrels and 11 bombs. 20" tall
