Josh McDaniel's Goblet Page

The dichro center piece of this goblet rotates 360 degrees. It was an experiment that turned out really well. The rest of these goblets are some others I have made recently.

Josh McDaniel's Perfume Bottles

Here are some bottles that I made. I couldn't decide what to do with them so I put droppers on the bottom of the stoppers and I am calling them perfume bottles. They are bigger than most perfume bottles, averaging 12-14" but they are beautiful.

Josh McDaniel's Paperweights

I made the Motorcycle paperweight at the Eugene Glass School 2004 Flame-Off. This piece took 3rd place in the marble or paperweight competition. I was very excited to combine two of my biggest passions, glass and motorcycles. More of these paperweights to come soon. The dragon eye I made about a week later and I really enjoy making eyeball paperweights.

Josh McDaniel's sculpture page

This is the drum I made for the Eugene Glass School 2004 Flame-off. It took first place in the Sculpture competition, and won me a GTT Delta. The Sacred White Buffalo head sculpture I made the following week. I am very inspired by Native American art and culture, and I am very appreciative to the Great Spirit for the creativity to create these wonderful pieces.

Josh McDaniel's Vase Page

As my glass handling skills improve, my focus has shifted to color and form. I incorporate many methods to accomplish the varied patterns and designs. I love to interchange contemporary and classic designs and patterns and see what is born. As I have grown I have learned to put my ego aside and work with the glass instead of against it.
